Mr. Rogers had that effect on many people. When I first heard of his death, back in 2003, I cried. He was a very profound influence in my life, so it makes me very happy whenever I see his show on the air. Even though my brother thinks its boring, I still encourage him to watch it, with the hope that some of Fred Rogers goodness and kindness will have the same, if not greater, effect on him as it did with me.
Mr. Rogers was the business. Mr. Rogers, Montessori pre-school and kindergarten, and Sesame Street were all really education and formative elements of my youth.
EDIT: Watching it now. Goddamn, I am nostalgia'ing so hard. Manly tears are brimming.
I know what it is, but I prefer my explanation - Patrick Stewart being a total dick to an italian woman in a car. Real explination - an F1 Driver takes his wife for an unexpected high-speed spin, after setting up cameras to film it.

Also, since theknoxinator and I were discussing it, this is my TotD. One take, open roads. C'était un rendez-vous.
I'm basically gonna keep this going on my second monitor at work all day long.
