Video that combines often seen tropes in animeopenings to one video. I find that video interesting because it made me think why does those tropes come up in openings again and again. Laziness of the makers or is there a real reason. Do all characters who run on their opening share some common elements? Someone should investigate into this and then make a panel or something out of it.
Something of note: There's been an issue of the Love Hina comeback put up for free download (Which I absent-mindedly downloaded before remembering I won't have much luck reading it.). The news is it got 450,000 downloads (Article in Japanese.).
I love getting digital copies of movies when I buy them on DVD/Blu-Ray, and when I got Scott Pilgrim I found out that Universal is doing it a little differently. Instead of giving you a disc that once you get the digital copy will be completely useless, they give you a leaflet that gives you the redemption number and tells you to go to a website and just download it from there.
EDIT: Now I know why they do it through a disc, downloading it from the internet takes so much longer. I retract my Thing of Your Day status, I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
The Lego store by my house has this "Pick-A-Brick" thing where you get a 32oz cup for $15, and you can fill it with as many Legos as you can fit. They have all sorts of joints, flaps, wheels, gemmies, control panels, and all sorts of awesome small elements. There's also this badass box containing larger bricks and Lego's Pick-a-Brick Online (which lets you buy any individual element by the piece).
I think I just figured out how to rebuild my collection. Add a couple Technics sets and some eBay lots, and I am good to go.

Interesting times ahead, methinks.
