Today was such a great day that I have a second thing. Actually, it's after midnight so I guess this can be my thing of February 21st. Anyways, after two hours of kickstarter funding, the Thumbs made enough money to bring their epic podcast back for good.
I can't access the link. Is Madhouse only providing animation, or is Madhouse and a japanese director adapting it?
If Madhouse only does the animation, I don't see what the worry is. They've done animation work for western series plenty of times. Boondocks for example is partially animated by Madhouse.
Overall, Madhouse is a very prolific and very good animation studio. I don't think them doing the animation could doom the project. What it hinges on is who directs it and what the art direction is.
Dude, I've played all of the Kingdom Hearts games (except Re: Coded, but that's more because I just haven't gotten it yet) and I still don't fully understand the whole story so far.

One thing I really liked about Birth by Sleep was how it's story could be taken as it's own thing, understandable without playing all the previous games and knowing about bodies, nobodies, antibodies, everybodies and whatever the other games had.

I keep explaining to this one student of mine how the plot is incomprehensible, and he insists it makes perfect sense. Then again, I teach crazy people.
The other day, I played a game of Cards Against Humanity, Which is basically the "You're a horrible bastard" version of Apples to Apples. Stupid, hilarious fun. Oh, and you can pick up a "Make your own cards" version for free on their website.
Possible plays include - "What will always get you laid? Cookie Monster Devouring the Eucharist Wafers." or "Instead of Coal, Santa now gives childeren ____? (Answering card - Dead Parents.)

The whole thing is not incomprehensible, I mostly have a problem with 358/2 Days.

This is truly a wonderful game, having played it many times. Personal favorite: ...And the Academy Award for "Team-Building Exercises" goes to... "Hurricane Katrina!"

EDIT:
Madhouse is working on a Peanuts cartoon!?!

Then again, looking at half these suggestions, if people listened to him, there would be some very, very short episodes.
Also, there's a new trailer for Brave.
