Okay, after checking out a few of his videos, that guy has a pretty awesome channel.
Does anyone remember this scene from the Hitchhiker's Guide movie? Well, he made that invention possible.
I wonder how many volts is really necessary to make the knife hot enough to toast? I was just thinking put a bunch of rcr123s or other small lion cells in a lightsaber style handle (since that's what it looked like in the movie) attached to a regular bread knife.

He took apart a microwave to make it. The label on the part he used reads "230V."
That's how much he used but I wonder how much you actually NEED. Considering how burnt it was I would think you could get away with quite a bit less, especially if you gave it a little bit of time to warm up.

Well, yeah, British power is 230-240 volt, and up to 13 amps. The output afterwards, fuck knows, but certainly much higher.

A bit of looking into it, seems that a microwave transformer with that kind of re-done winding will push about 800 amps, give or take. So yeah, could probably do less.
This is a pretty sizable collection of digitized tapes from unknown/underground noise and experimental acts from the 80's and 90's. A lot of weird stuff but also a lot of really good stuff that was way before its time. It just lets me to believe the obvious assumption that all of the cool revolutionary music we'll be listening to in a decade is being played in basements right now.

Kazoo!
This is only slightly unnerving.

T-Mobile getting salty over a Verizon ad.
This is only their first video.
