The Birdcage was a remake, was the same dialogue used in the original?
Good question. I've never seen La Cage aux folles, so I couldn't say. One of these days I'm going to have to see if Netflix has it. That dialog, however, was definitely from The Birdcage.
"Destroy us alllll!" "Destroy us alllll!" "Destroy us alllll!" "Destroy us alllll!" "Destroy us alllll!" "Destroy us alllll!" "Destroy us alllll!"
Plan 9 from Outer Space. How you managed to pick one of the least funny lines in that film is beyond me. Go for the classics such as "Modern Women, they have been like that throughout the ages"
"Did you ever see a Pterodactyl?" "No sir." "Well did you ever wanna see a Pterodactyl?" "I guess not." "Well that's it. You see what you want to see. And you hear what you wanna hear."
LOL. That was about my favorite bit in the whole thing. That one line would have made the movie great for me, but it was filled with great lines. Damn. Now I gotta see it again . . .
