Yep, bloody awesome series. I'm so sorry it didn't get a third season to at least wrap things up. It was just getting really interesting, especially if since it seemed to be going for an alternative timeline plot.
I hope that Termintor Salvation is bloody good, so good that the fools at Fox will see they just cancelled one of the best series in a while. I'll be buying both series on DVD, to let them see, tha this show is superb and deserves atleast a third season. Just think, if they used online ratings like Hulu too, things could have been so different.
What I really don't understand is that Sarah Connor was canceled, but the mediocreDollhouse gets another season. I just couldn't get into that show for the life of me. I felt guilty for it, so I went back to try to watch it again, but got bored and couldn't make it through a single episode.
Also, the over-abundance of attractive women is distracting. Turn it down a notch and maybe I'll be able to pay more attention to the plot. Not that there's anything wrong with attractive women, it's just that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the plot even if I wanted to.

Remember: the show is not the product, and you are not the customer. You are the product, and you are being sold to the advertiser. The show is just bait to bring you to the table in the first place.
The only factor in determining whether a television show continues to exist or not is whether or not the advertisers are happy with the product (the viewers). If they're not getting the demographic they're aiming for, they'll just stop supporting the show, and that's that.
The only real exception to this are the pay channels. But they only care if you continue to subscribe: not what (or even if) you actually watch.
A urinal? I have never seen the show, but I adore Ms. Manson. Please elaborate.
On a side note, I enjoy Dollhouse. It certainly isn't great. The casting is a bit off and acting a bit wooden, but there is a lot to like in the series, too. I honestly think it would fare better as an Anime.

Spoilers: She is a Robert Patrick-model terminator, and at one point disguises herself as a urinal, then kills a dude who just soiled her. She is not good. Her acting is horrible. Even as a urinal.
I loved this show. It highlighted the heavy burden John Connor faced as the supposed "savior of the human race," while at the same time needing to hide away from the world until he could fulfill his role. It made John Connor truly a human character for me too.
I'm still so disappointed it's been canceled. The season 2 finale? So many questions, so many possibilities.
It's a shame that I keep hearing Salvation is a pile of shit too. This is a bad year for Terminator.
It is odd that they are cancelling it before the new movie comes out. One expects that the movie would generate a lot more interest in the show.
That was one of the ideas floating around during the short campaign to try to get the show renewed... But, the reviews have been all kinds of terrible. Maybe Fox knew and didn't feel the bad press would be enough to help the show out? It's ratings have been kind of blah since the first season.
I don't know. I'll definitely buy the Season 2 DVD set, may wait until it's released rather than pre-order though since the price is a little high right now.

Oh well.
