  • So long as thıs ıs after August I am so ın.
  • maybe the rest of us (far away people) should make our own game nights. I am going to start going to the midwest area gaming enthusiasts gatherings.

  • Hey guys.
This is a little soon, so sorry about that. The company that I work at is having a game night tomorrow ( manhattan, chelsea area ). We have a nice board game collection and lots of video games (tons of manga too). However, It's mostly a board gaming event so playing video games isn't really the point. It's a good opportunity to meet game designers, programmers and other game related people. Most people here are friendly and easy to talk to and they all like to talk about games ( it's what we do). You may not be interested in the types of games we develop but we are still a really neat little company in the city (gamelab.com). You can use this as an opportunity to have a mini meet up. If you're not interested, that's cool. If you are, let me know so that there is enough pizza to go around.

Hey, I know this little board game shop in the city. I'll talk to them today to see about playing in the upstairs, like at Millennium.

@ Mankoon: Yes! I want to go! Meet game making people! Food! Arts!

  • Mankoon: I think you can count me in, as well.
  • Mankoon: Count me in. Could I bring some friends?

    Hey guys,
It's getting close to capacity as far as how many people I can personally invite. There might be other opportunities in the future so I'll let you know later.

  • I'd gladly ride with mosquito boy on the cheapo bus down to NYC if I could stay in that hotel room overnight. I'm poor.

Sigh... and here in Jersey I have a graduation party (essentially the last time I'm seeing a friend before college). The thought of board gaming in the city is so... damn... tempting, though... (and one 40 minute train ride away!)

  • I have never heard of this boar-gaming of which you speak.
  • As a longtime member of PETA I am staunchly against boargaming! How dare you?
