  • Two words.

    Cannibal Corpse.
  • Cannibal Corpse.
I think this is really the ONLY answer to this question.
  • 3. Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up (3:32)

    ...Really?
  • 1. The Cheeky Girls - Cheeky song (touch my bum) (3:23)
Why does everyone question Rick Astley and not this one?
  • edited July 2008
I'll question that one. I really don't mind Rick. I have that as my Ringtone! :D

Though I have to ask, why restrict yourself to such a small playlist?

Wow, that entire thing, minus the static x stuff, seems like the type of thing me and my friends did back in the day - make CDs of stupid-shit geek culture songs...and other stupid stuff.

Is that even a serious list?
  • You only need three songs to stay pumped.
Yuusha-Oh Tanjou ~Perfect Yell Verson~ from GaoGaiGar, Happily Ever After from Gurren-Lagann, and the theme to Aim For the Top! Gunbuster.

    *sigh*Yes, it is.

It's fun song and it lightens the mood to keep me entertained while sniping.
    3. Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up (3:32)
    ...Really?
Yes, really. I happen to like that song and also have it as a ringtone, much to the chagrin of my real world friends.

    RoboNeito mix!
  • Jimi Hendrix.
  • 3. Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up (3:32)
I can totally understand that. I'm smiling at the thought of putting a bullet in someone's forehead and Rick singing "Never gonna let you down!"
    4. O-Zone - Dragostea din tea (3:34)
That how I cannot understand. What the hell dude? O-Zone? It has always been horrible!

Why Happily Ever After? Sora Iro Days is also awesome, more action pumped if you ask me. Or Nikopol, though I have a weakness for that song.
  • Podcasts. Intelligent conversation to further distance myself from the terrors of twelve year olds on Xbox Live.
  • In Tribes 2, I listen to the Tribes 2 music.

Otherwise, I tend not to listen to music. I play to win, and being attuned to the environment within the game is a fairly significant edge. Back in the Action Quake days, I changed the sounds of certain important events (such as the clang of a bouncing grenade) to stand out more. In Weapons Factory and Lithium Deathmatch, I even went so far as to play at 120 FOV. In Doom, I removed bobbing and added a crosshair.

Quoted for Truth. I generally just listen to the games music though, but since I barely play FPS's...
  • also have it as a ringtone
    Nice!

The more I think about it, the better it sounds. That would indeed make a nice ringtone.
    Jimi Hendrix.
    Cream. Zeppelin.

  • I don't listen to any music that isn't part of the game.
  • Scott, Halo multiplayer doesn't have music and UT2004 music sucks.

Your solution is not to add music to a bad game, but to play a good game.
  • Halo is a good game, it only lacks music for multiplayer. The campaign and interface music is very good and has won multiple awards. It's very cinematic.

I usually have some sort of ambient/orchestral music running on low in the background. It adds an almost cinematic feel without taking away from any of the nuisances required to use the sound environment to your advantage.

Halo is an unoriginal regurgitation of PC games that existed ten years ago.

  • I just can't get over how big the cross hair is in Halo.

    Yup, "Marathon".

Well, it was originally a console game. Gotta give those poor folks something to work with. Haha! (Take the stance of a PC gaming Adonis a la Zero punctuation.)
  • What is fragging?

I'm fairly certain it's a euphemism for sodomy.

Oh, okay. Thanks. I was nervous to google it at work, as I assumed it had something to do with sex.

If it did, then it would mean the extinction of male virgins.
