Akikan... Its absurd nature and premise of soda can girls is what caught my eye. But after watching the second episode, I'm questioning it.
I really enjoyed Minami-ke for its strictly slice of life nature. It's no Seinfeld or Lucky Star, but it's good. Even though I could just jump into the third season/series, I rather finish up the second season first.
You didn't question it after the extreme pervertedness in the first minute of the first episode?
I thought of it as "satirical", because it was that extreme. Now most of the humor are just copping out with badly executed innuendos. Pretty sad that Melon is the only likable character in the series.
I've never seen Hayate the Combat Butler, but It's in the list of anime that 'has a possible chance of me watching them, that I will then read about and find out if I want to watch it or not'. If it turns out I like it, then I might watch the OVA.
Supposedly related to Tenchi. I watched the official preview at their site and it looks pretty cool.
# ?To LOVE-Ru (OVA)?- *Volume 1 (04/03)
I've seen To LOVE-Ru, and it was barely mediocre, pushing towards super, super bad. Since it's an OVA, I might check it out, but I'm not expecting anything.
# ?Spice & Wolf II: Wolf and Amber Melancholy ~ Episode 0 (OVA)?*bundled with “Ohkami to Kin no Mugiho” book - (04/30)
I liked Spice and Wolf, so I'll be checking out the second season to see if it's any good.
Most of the others I either haven't heard of or aren't interested in. Really though, I'm not really looking forward to anything upcoming, except for Spice and Wolf II and Isekai no Saikishi Monogatari.

Really? I found the currency speculation talk extremely boring.

Why watch something you are not fond of? There are plenty of other good shows.

It wasn't just currency speculation all the time. The middle of the show was a (Kinda spoilers)(conspiracy arc, and the last couple of episodes had some giant wolf massacre action. After that, it was just Horo and Lawrence reunited (once again) and continue their adventures towards her homeland- and then it ends. Hopefully season 2 will pick up from there and will elaborate more on her homeland and the Wolfy-God stuff.) I wouldn't watch Spice and Wolf for the merchant talk, more for the characters. It is a character-driven show, after all.
@Nine- "*breaks your neck*" Huh? What the fuck? You actually liked that show?? I couldn't stand a minute of it, creepy as fuck.
On that list I'm looking forward to Ristorante Paradiso, FMA, Konnichi no Anne and Eden of the East the most. I'll see K-ON because of Kyo Ani's great animation alone. but I'm not sure if I will like it that much. I'm iffy on Phantom and Senjou no Valkria.

EDIT: More Kodomo no Jikan? Why?!?
It's an OVA season though. *breaks your neck*
I haven't really looked around all that much concerning the Spring season. Winter season series have barely passed the halfway mark.
EDIT: Also, Scott. You are very, very stupid:

* 「RAINBOW Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin」- (Spring ‘09)
And a Valkyria Chronicles anime, neat. I just picked up the game finally, should be interesting to see what the show does.
Still digging aboot trying to see what might be worth watching. Perhaps I'll bother writing reasons.
0/10.
