Alright, post submitted for your editing pleasure.
Published (with almost zero editing required).

  • In case anyone was actually interested in reading it, here is a link.
  • For those of you keeping score at home, Sail is winning.

The header on the blog has been updated because Andrew said the old one was "ugly," "all sorts of horrible," looked as though "it was taken from a Geocities site," and needed to be "unfucked."

Apparently, now "that shit is hot."

Does everyone have the same problem: The blog interface does not give contributors the insert media (pictures, videos) buttons? Let me know.

In other news, I am going to the zoo. Peace.

  • Is there a way that I can get the posts on my blog to be automatically submitted to the GeekNights Fans Blog?

No. But you can copypasta the html in about 20 seconds.

  • If you'd called the GeekNights Listeners' Blog I might have joined in. I'm more of a listener than a fan.

I haven't even listened to more than three episodes the podcast for the past year, don't get picky.

I think "Back Row Crew" would have been cleverer.

I thought about Front Row Crude, but w/e.
  • How about the Daily Bargle?
  • Hey, a bunch of new posts ^_^
  • How about the Daily Bargle?
Bargle is a word that manages to make me laugh every time I hear/read it.

    You and Mr. MacRoss both.
  • I've never heard anyone say "bargle" outside of this forum. That includes both in real life and elsewhere on the internet.

When I get both annoyed and angry, I usually yell out "argle bargle bargle." I call it the angry vomit.

Bargle was used in a webcomic we used to read as the sound of a man dying of a heart attack. It evolved into the sound of vomit from there.
  • The blog will be deleted soon, as there has been no activity in three weeks. At the start of the experiment, I predicted to Andrew that people would post there until the end of May, and then it would fail miserably. Call Randi. I am ready for the $1 million.

This is why I did not make an official thing.

Damnit, I actualy enjoyed reading the thing. I'll try to get my finger out and write something for you before it closes out.
  • I have posts written. But I guess I'll just make my own blog now, or something.
  • I have some posts that I have been working on, I just got writers block. I'll get them finished this week.
  • I didn't even realize that this thing existed. Hot damn.

I saw this and was interested, but sometimes I feel that what I have to say is fairly silly and/or irrelevant. I do have an old Blogspot blog, but I think I might be starting something on Wordpress. I was thinking of posting the progress of my sewing projects among other things.

BTW, I enjoy that Sail is one of the new editions to Quaedam.
  • I will be able to post 1 or 2 new articles tomorrow night with 3-4 more coming within the next week. Please don't delete the blog just yet, we can turn this dry spell around.

I was thinking the same thing, though I think mine would be more shameless self promotion.

  • I feel that way all the time, and in truth I write a lot of crap. But, honestly, it's not so much about getting a lasting literary triumph as it is about the process. Blogging helps me solidify my thoughts about the various experiences and media I consume. It helps me think about why I like what I like, why I hate what I hate, and what has merit. Put out some trash. Rewrite the trash three times if you need to before posting (I often do, and I have posts that have been sitting for weeks unfinished or in partly-written form because I don't like them). Just do it. Let your fingers do the talking.

Do it, you don't want to be addicted to brain crack.
