Okay, so here's the skinny: While I was injured with my back about a month ago, I was poking around online for ways to get free xbox points. Just about every site I ran into was really shady, or deceitful, or wanted credit card numbers, or was all warezy. However, a couple of weeks ago I discovered Points2Shop. It was professional, had an active community and chatbox/shoutbox where people were constantly giving advice and being helpful, and even had how-to videos on what you needed to do in order to earn points (or cash, whatever your preference is).
Here's how it works:
Advertisers and/or survey companies pay P2S to get people's eyeballs looking at their ads, interacting with their surveys (real surveys, like Nielsen) and usually some basic information to prove you're not a piece of software.
P2S puts up the offers and surveys on their website for you to peruse and, if you want, interact with.
After you're done interacting, the advertiser/surveyor confirms with P2S that you interacted with their site, and then you get points (or cash).
Additionally, you can play games on the site to earn points/cash (although I rarely do, since I lose too often...) and you earn cash and points for referring people (some when they sign up, more as they earn points/cash themselves).
Anyhow, whenever you want to buy something, you can simply browse their pretty wide selection of stuff on Amazon, or order stuff directly through P2S, or, if you are using the cash method, simply withdraw cash to a paypal account.
If you do a whole mess of their free offers/surveys, you can earn around 2000 points ($20.00) in about a week and get a code for xbox points e-mailed to you. I did it. Got my points. Spent em. Now after two weeks of slower progress (because I'm busier) I am almost up to another 2000 points and another free code for another 1600 MS Live points.
Down sides:
- You need to make new e-mail addresses frequently. Both to absorb spam and to be able to repeat offers.
- You need a free (free forever) phone number/voice mail from k7.net to absorb any possible robocalls you could get.
- You need to be comfortable putting your real name and address (and sometimes birthday) in the offers. That being said, they have a security guarantee on their site and as of now I have received only one piece of actual physical junk mail (and that was only because I mis-clicked something). Anything else that has ever been sent to me from offers has been in digital form and absorbed by spam filters.
Anyhow, if you're interested, my referral link is
here. If you join and need any advice, you can PM me (username is adammacross on the site)or use the shoutbox.

Hm, Might check it out. They seem legit, they're partnered up with amazon, but I'm still somewhat dubious.
EDIT: It just occurred to me that I blacked out my e-mail in this image...I assume you all trust me enough to know I'm not going to try and scam all my friends.
Edit-I just logged In and got "We have detected that you are likely logging in from a public location (work, library, university, school, hotel etc.). Please be advised that completing offers or requesting a withdrawal on a public location might result in offer reversals or even account termination. Visiting other pages is not a concern. If you login in from home you can ignore this message."
Edit 2-I just talked to a moderator and they said you are allowed to log in but not get any prizes or do any offers
