  • I've only ordered one thing but it didn't take more than 2 weeks. Just like normal amazon I think it just depends on the seller.

When I ordered my prism stickers to get the bronze status, they took about a week and a half.
The games I've ordered via amazon typically took 3-5 business days, with the exception of the first time I tried to order Dragon Age and it never came. I was also refunded the points since it never arrived, after I notified P2S with a trouble ticket. They were really nice and prompt about it too.
If your order status is 'approved', then the order is on it's way. Remember that things don't ship until the order gets placed with Amazon, which can sometimes be a day or two after you submit it in P2S.
Any Microsoft points I've ordered I've done by e-mail. They look more expensive at first, but once you realize that a snail-mailed code is 1400-1500 points PLUS the shipping, it usually comes out to be about the same price in the end, and you get the points sooner. My e-mail points generally come in 2-4 days depending on if I order them on a weekday or not.

@Ninja - I believe you can actually change your address information to be the school's by submitting a support ticket. I think you'd still need a static IP address there like in a dorm room with a wired connection or something like that. You should look into it, I will as well.

  • Just got my dollar today. (Yay!)

Don't spend it all on one place. ;)
Have you been getting my messages about the dollar offers and the fast approving offers that I find?

I would have them change it but I think they would still know its a college connection. I don't know if I have a static IP address or not, but I know when I've been on P2S on my wired desktop I still got the message saying I was on a public connection.
  • If you signed up for P2S way back when and haven't done much with it, you should take another look. The website's been totally redesigned, they have new, easier ways to earn points, and the entire process is even easier that it was before.image
  • I have a really hard time believing this isn't some scam you have fallen for. Soooo shady.
  • It's legit but still kinda shady. Just be smart about it and it's fine.

It seems shady because you're essentially getting something for practically nothing. There are also dozens of scams that pretend to do what P2S is actually doing. I was super skeptical when I started, but I did my research and this is literally the only one I found that was straightforward about the 'what to do' and the 'how to do it'.
Bottom line is: I've gotten over two hundred dollars worth of stuff, and all it cost me was some time.
  • Just made an account, let's try this sucker out.

Take your hourly wage, multiply it by the time you spend on it. Then take into account that apparently you get items, and not straight up cash, the latter being much more useful and flexible and worth more in comparisons. Then tell me if it's worth it.

EDIT: Fuck Vanilla 2. I no longer can select that which I wish to quote and hit quote. Why would they remove such a useful feature. It's not like they fixed the bug of people being retards and clicking the wrong quote button.

  • It's still retarded and won't let me use it on campus internet's or public networks so its pretty useless to me for now.

First of all quoting isn't even a feature of Vanilla 1 or 2. Neither one supports quoting. The quoting has always been added by plugins made by random people on the Internets. The only decent quoting plugin for Vanilla 2 does not have that feature, if it ever will.

    Also, stop complaining.

Because you asked nicely? Oh wait, you did not. There's no reason not to point out regressions, especially when there's not enough improvements to balance said regressions out.

Oh, and your comparison to the sign-thing, utter bullshit. This is the internet, and it's freaking forum software, it's never going to be a goddamned relic, just a bundle of annoying regressions and non-noteworthy improvements.

If you don't like it, then leave. If you stay, that's an admission that you LURV it and want to have its babies.
  • Dick vs Ass: Who will win?
  • Much like Freddie vs. Jason, whoever wins, we loose.
  • Dick almost always penetrates ass first.

It's not like I said it was a second job. It's a way to earn some stuff (tax free too) while you're sitting around watching TV or trying to kill some time, or don't want to pay real money for something. The fact that I've gotten over $200 of items and money for just sitting around a website clicking stuff or entering some information. I can do it from home, without going anywhere, with minimal effort.
And you CAN get straight up cash, if you so choose.
So yeah. Worth it in my opinion.

  • It works. I simply did a survey here and there for about a month or so whenever I had some free time, and got 1600 Microsoft Points. And a dollar.I still have that dollar, attached to the letter it came with.

  • So if you have an account and want to make some quick and more importantly guaranteed points, check out the uSamp section. Click on the "profiles" button. These are non-qualifying surveys, some are only ten questions or so, and no matter what your answers, you get points for finishing them. The point ranges vary from ten to twenty-five, with a few that are even higher paying.
I suggest doing them for a quick few hundred points.
