Correct, I have yet to come across a second awesome person on here. Poor Churba.
You say that, But I think that Burrage and Scrym both have me beat all hollow. I've got a few unusual skills, but those guys actually make something of what they can do, and that's just a start. I'm just the resident dumb-but-tough guy here.

Reading the first post has all the details, but depending on what your refering to, Parkour is in NYC, Urban exploration is in Rochester, Mountain Climbing is Beacon and Geocashing is in NYC. I think that covers the NY events, but there are other options as well. Go ahead and read the first post for the full details.
Just as a heads up, on Thursday the 29th, being two Thursdays from now, I will be announcing where we are going based on the votes and supplying all of the details for what you should bring, wear, expect, and how to get there.
For the most part, if it involves much gear it is more than likely that I have it already so mostly you will need some cloths and water for almost every activity.
All right Ladies and Gents, based on the votes, 0. I will be in NYC with the FRC this weekend. On Saturday sometime around midday I will be headed out into the streets of NYC to find some good routes and practice areas. I will be leading a stretching session followed by an introductory lesson to parkour and basic techniques followed by a practice session and then a good run.
You should bring loose comfortable ventilated clothing, and a good pair or running shoes. Sweat bands are optional but they can help. !!Important note: Hydrate yourself before you come and during parkour.!!
This is a strenuous activity and NOAA reports possible 85 degree weather on Saturday.
If you would like to join in you can either email me at PKerr2@gmail.com for some clearer details or follow me on twitter at Pkerr2 where I will update my location and status every half-hour or so.
