  • I still disagree with the site, but it certainly isn't a particularly bad example by any means.

Porn is dehumanizing. It reduces people, and mostly females, to a very narrow set of values, and all of them subservient to the sexual desires of others. Okay, forget the "those taking part" phrase, I think the vast majority porn is dehumanizing to all women, just like performing in blackface makeup helped proliferate racism and racist stereotypes.
I agree. However, I do not think that is the sole fact that it shows sex, but more how the society thinks about sex now. Porn, like any media, is a mirror of the society it was produced in, and yet also influences that society at the same time, reinforcing bad views. That is the main problem I have with it. It teaches people bad sexual opinions.
I agree that there are major issues with a lot of porn being produced today; probably most of it. Commercial porn in particular is quite bad in this regard. However, I think the bigger issue is the underlying cultural values and not the porn itself. As society evolves I think porn will definitely change for the better, but I don't think it will disappear or even decline.
I think this. I think that people will get more calm about the subject of sex, but I won't disappear while we are still human. It's more about making people think about it in better, less mean ways.

My main problem with porn is that there's not enough of it.
