The hat... Pete wore that hat every day for an entire quarter (or was it year) of RIT. He was widely known on campus as "that guy what wears the fake viking had every day."
Yeah, if you all didn't know, I'm sort of awesome.
EDIT: The second greatest moment regarding that hat - the first of course being the signing - was when some guy I didn't really know stopped me on campus to tell me that some girl in his creative writing class had written a story about me, wondering who I was and why I wore the hat. He said it went to creepy stalker levels of inquiry.
Unfortunately, he didn't know her name, so I couldn't track her down to, y'know, tap that.
The Gracie's crew I worked with made up a custom nametag for me to wear with the hat: "Olaf Svensson, God of Thunder." I still have it.
And I know you probably figured it out Sonic, but the hat you sent me is not the same design as the hat in that picture. The one you sent me was actually on the small side.
You will be happy to know that both hats are displayed proudly on top of my TV.
I'm just thinking that how could someone NOT talk to a guy in a viking hat. That would have to be an interesting person. Maybe an adventure would come from it like that time I talked to pirate guy on the metro.

Motherfucker loved SRMs too.
EDIT: Well, after looking in my amazon history, apparently not "exactly".
EDIT: On second thought, that might not be Jay's. Does look awfully familiar, though.
And I wore it for a year and a half. The proper nickname was Viking Boy.
And yes, I wore it to commencement. I don't know if those photos are on the Internet, though.
Man, that fucking moustache...

...Rym's mustache. *shudder*
Edit: Also, thanks for that link, Scojo. Alex's long-lost tiara photos are in there!
