Ownership of one of those was around $200.000 when the stadium was built, but you still have to buy tickets to any event you want to use it at so we didn't try buying one.
$200,000 but the ticket price is what kept you away? Do not grock.
Do not spell grok properly either.
That is how luxury boxes work at pretty much every stadium ever. You buy the luxury box itself for some enormous price. That makes you the owner of the box. You can decorate it, personalize it, etc. Most of them are bought by companies, not individuals. Then each box comes with X tickets for every event that is held at the place. The box owner is the only one allowed to buy those tickets. They obviously can't sell out, but they aren't free.
Anyway, I have been in one of those boxes once in 1997. It was the first of may which is a BIG student / labor movement party over here. The box was decked out by the owning company and the stadium packed with drunk finns cheering for Russia to beat France (so that Finland could advance to the playoffs).
Something made me think of this thread the other day. I have no clue why. I will choose to assign the blame to the overwhelming desire I possess to one day go to Finland and Sauna like a motherf***er.
