Actually, given how CL's grandfather is a physicist, her father is a physics professor, and Brian May has a PhD in astrophysics, I do see a lot of commonalities there. They both have mutual interest in music and (even if tangentially) physics.
What's sad is that the author of that manga (which is basically softcore of numerous fetishes, and won a Kodansha manga award) is the same one who did Me and the Devil Blues (which got cancelled).
