Yeah, but if $1 is worth it to go for the upset then so is $10, because if $10 is a significant fraction of your resources you're not too far from the lower bound anyway. The main benefit of the $1 bet is that you can't get worse than 1:1 odds after rounding.
Also, fuck. How does Ken & Gang get 1:1.5 against Death13? I expected something like 1:10.
You can't just look at the win/loss ratio, you have to look at the other info including the chance of fakes. If you see the "fake" icon, think twice.
Apparently that one was a fake Cammy; I only had $300 on Lee because I thought I'd be betting on the underdog. If I'd realised Cammy was a fake in time I would have bet more on Lee.
Given the 126:1 odds, Araki Runa did a rather surprising amount of damage to Captain Commando.
Wow, Recoom vs Goten GT was a pretty good match. I lost $300 on Recoom, but I have no regrets.
I am, however, definitely regretting betting $1000 on Jotaro Kujo against Chill Penguin. He's really bad, and even if he won I only would've gotten $288.
Whew; Glacius almost beat Yue when I had $4000 against him. I only won $100 or so from it too.
That might well be the case. Apparently it has happened before.
That said, part of it is probably that Glacius has quite a solid rushdown, so she didn't have much time to respond to it.
Also, it's pretty annoying that my $300 bet on Future Trunks against Emerl didn't go through, given the 1:5 odds. In the end it turned out that I was lucky, though.
FUCK! I lost $2000 betting on Flandre Scarlet against Android 18. That hurt pretty bad; I'm back down to $7000.
Betting $3000 on Gogeta SSJ4 against Miyazato Erika may have been my biggest mistake ever.
Okay, I managed to win $100, but given that I almost lost $3000, I fucked up pretty badly. I think the best way to summarize betting on matches with DBZ characters is this - always bet on the upset.
Wow, Ryu vs Michaelangelo is a great match. That timer scam finish was excellent; $265 for my $100. Nice turtling from the ninja turtle right there.
I bet $1000 on Black Adam against Dhalsim. He almost took one round and the odds were 10:1, but on the whole I guess that was a mistake. Dhalsim is kind of a beast.
I'm not regretting my $1000 on Kazama Kazuki against Franko, though. I got $275 for it, but Kazama is pretty damn strong.
Trouble Man vs Pyro was a very close match. Pyro won 3-1, but it could easily have gone the other way.
Dhalsim showed up again, but this time it was a fake Dhalsim and he is getting destroyed by Walkyrie. Fortunately I knew how to spot the fake.
Okay, I'm putting $300 on Beast against Remilia. Let's see if he can get this upset at 1:46.5.
He didn't get it. Remilia's heal-to-full is really goddamned strong. That said, he won a round and I think he had a pretty good chance; Beast is basically an upset machine.
I just won $7297 from a $300 bet - I bet $300 on Mech-Hisui against Donovan, and she beat him. It was the second round in a row with Donovan, and since he destroyed his opponent from the previous round I figured it would be a good time to bet against him. My only mistake was only betting $300; I could have afforded to risk much more than that.
Pyro vs Battousai was a great match - another 5-rounder. I won with $2K on Battousai, but I only got $500 for it.
Comments
Okay, got my $920, but that was a painful $920.
Also, fuck. How does Ken & Gang get 1:1.5 against Death13? I expected something like 1:10.
I guess he put up a decent fight, at least.
All in on Gojira-sama.
Damnit, my stream is laggy as hell all of a sudden.
Go, Saba, go! You can do this! Win me $500 for my $1000!
YES! I have to say, though, Justice is pretty damn bad.
Go, Fat Albert, go! Squash that Sailor Senshi!
I got $50 on Lynn Baker vs Sasquatch.
Fuck, that first round was way too close.
Yep.

Always bet girl on pig.

I lost $2000 betting on Jon Talbain because he turned out to be a fake. Fakes are painful
Damn.

A few won't get it, a few people will laugh, but there's a handful people who will see that and just go "Holy shit that's dark."
Also, I just lost $9009 betting on Onslaught against Medicine Melancholy. That really hurt
I think I'm done for the night with my $30K.
