I'm glad Scott attacked me so hard to in the end have a stunning 4th place finish, barely eeking 7 neptunium past me and doing nothing useful with his army.

I would have sent 100% of my subs at Andrew, but he was too far away.
I'd like to thank Cheese for falling asleep when he had a kill shot on me, Andrew for peaking before me and turning the game into "kill Andrew," and Ro, for blatantly Kingmaking me. She was a loyal diplomatic partner to the end. Twice, I had blatant kill shots on her queen, but decided against backstabbing her both times. My faith was repaid by House Tyrell.
There was a point where I had a specialist combo and some visibility on the map several days ago. Depending on my actions, I could fast forward to a near game state where any of Scott, Andrew, or Matt was the winner and the game was over.
The key to this game is to not actually try to win, but be in second place and hope everyone fucks up the person winning ~_^
The key is to vote who wins. Or as is the case with us, we voted for who we didn't want to win. Matt is the least reviled. I definitely would have cast my vote for him second after myself.
Alright, no idea what's going on with the stupid time machine thing. It's lied to me at least twice now.
First time, it told me my sub would get there in time. It didn't. I guess it's my own fault for not doing the math in my head, but I trusted the transit time measurement. 45 dead mans later, I have nothing to show for it.
Second time, it told me my pirate would win the fight. Oops! It bumped into another sub on the way. I guess it's my fault for believing it when it said it would win the fight against the sub I was targeting.
Just now. "This sub is expected to lose its next battle." Click on combat preview. "Starfox wins, 15 drillers left, 15-0". Fast forward with the wheel and it looks like my guys do... No damage? Who knows what's happening there. Do I need to send more guys? Did I already win? No clue.

(No, it's not. 2nd place is the first loser.)
But yes, your decision paid off.
My fights with Cheese, Pichu, and Bytes that were 50/50 kept me at no advantage.
I took screenshots. ;^)

So I don't really care any more.
