The time machine isn't lying to you per se, it's just missing out on future orders. Also, it appears I'm being a bit exploitative in my fight with you. Diplomat + General + Navigator is one of those GTR broken combos, as it turns out.
I send my Navigator at an outpost with 0 drillers; it kills 10 mans for free, but loses the battle and gets captured at that outpost. Due to the Diplomat, it immediately gets released on a 0-driller sub of Starfox's back towards my nearest outpost. However, on its path back, it encounters a 1-driller sub that I have sent Starfox's way; upon this encounter I can immediately reclaim my Navigator and send it back at Starfox's outpost once again. Thus, by sending a stream of 1-driller subs, I can do 10 damage with the Navigator over and over again in a short span of time.
However, this tactic is not without counterplay; by sending your own subs at me and killing the 1-driller subs before they can recapture my Navigator, you would have prevented me from getting the free 10 damage more than once.
There does seem to be a bug as well, though; in sub-to-sub combat my specialists appear to be recaptured immediately. I believe that what's supposed to happen is that the captured specialist should be sent to your nearest outpost, and only after arriving there should it be released by the Diplomat.
The time machine only projects from what you as a player have knowledge of. Things that happen outside of sonar range don't get included until your sonar can see them.
So, the further forward you roll time, the less accurate the predictions are, since shit can easily go down.
Under current circumstances I am set to win Game 002 on Day 9. That's a lot quicker than Game 001, which ended at 0800 on Day 11.
People in Game 002 seem a lot less dedicated to fucking the guy in first place than they were in Game 001; SuperPichu dropping out due to inactivity doesn't exactly help either.
Not rolling a lieutenant until the last 8 hours or a movement specialist until the last 16 hours made the excess of factories a major hinderance, so becoming a war profiteer was the next best choice.
The color coding corresponds to who's funding you - Gizmoduck is playing, so he can see the colors of the people who are funding him, but nobody can see who's funding other players.
I think my victory is nearly guaranteed at this point. A concerted attack could take some of my outposts and slow down my victory, but the only way I have a chance of not coming first is if my enemies manage to take one of my mines and hit me with the 20% penalty, and I'm pretty sure I have all four of my mines locked up safely right now.
Came 4 in my recent game, got betrayed by a noob who took last place. Would have otherwise been at least 2nd place.
Once someone has 3 mines and 400 drillers, its gg unless all others attack simultaneously to dethrone the leader.
I've noticed the noob players who cause 'problems' don't: look into the future pay attention to intelligence reports communicate appropriately
also get emotional if allegiances change
late game strategy, team up with non-noob player and fund drillers, and co-ordinate attacks on enemy generators
will be 2v2 till someone is dethrone, then it will be a free for all between 3 players, which means neptuim win or driller win.
If the noobs are still clinging on, like in my case, they'll ruin any strategy you have planned. Best to resign, as you have no hope to catch up late game at all.
Towards the end of the game I would've won single-handedly against everyone else. The +1026/day is due to 4 Tycoons at the very end, but I also had 2 Admirals and 3 Engineers at that point.
Fyodor25 and Gromozeka were my allies. There was a moment a while back where they would've been a serious threat if they betrayed me, but later on it would've cost them quite a lot.
In the end, they got second and third place; they would've done worse by going against me.

I think we may be screwed. I blame the AFKers

The color coding is because you get to see who is funding you.
Also that production is nuts.
My
minionally 2bfree got second place, so that's cool too ^_~My assassination of Keats helped to get him there.
The first player to mine gets attacked.
Players get so salty when they're eliminated within the first few days. lulz
"The game always changes, it's expected."
Also, I highly recommend having 2 Tycoons and 2 Admirals; it's pretty awesome.

+1026 drillers/day isn't half bad, I think. The second image is the only part of the map I couldn't see.
