I voted by thinking which game utilizes the system the best. It was either Wii Sports and Trauma Center for me. I would've chosen Zelda, but its "Wii" use felt limited.
I own a wii but I haven't been playing it much because my parents still don't know I own a wii. However I've played a bit of wii sports and played Zelda at my friends house and i gotta say Zelda is pretty good.
Ghost Squad is so awesome. A light gun game that lets you level up your character and play through a ton of variations (although minor) on three levels over and over. It's so much fun.
I'm playing through Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles right now and it's a decent House of the Dead clone. I recommend it to any fans of the RE series as it's total fan service. The game lets you play through various parts of RE 0, 1, 2 and 3 and fills in some caps in the series. For example, you can play bonus missions as Rebecca at the Mansion, Wesker in various parts and even Hunk's mission to get the T-Virus back. It also introduces some brand new characters, but I won't spoil that for you.
*looks this way and that* I own my Wii.. but WoW and real life ate away my time for it.. >>;
I've played some versus on Redsteel, a lil bit of starting of Twilight Princess, and lots of versus on Rayman Raving Rabbits. I don't like FPS very much, so Redsteel was just fun because I was screaming and yelling with my friends. Rayman is okay, but not a game you sit and play and play. So, my vote went to Twilight Princess. It helps that I'm a complete sucker for pretty graphics. Plus, I know what to expect from LoZ games; a lot of puzzle solving. I really do love Zelda games, but they confuse me and I can easily take three months to do something most people take 2 days to do. ^-^'
I'm willing to bet that at the end of the Wii's life around 50% of those that bought the system will have only purchased 2-4 games for it. I'm talking Wii Play, Wii Fit and maybe 1 or 2 future games. Given this, I don't expect the system to have many great games, especially anything done by 3rd party developers.
