Bitter Food Divisions

  • Barbecue chips are best. The best of the best are Ruffles barbecue, but I don't know if they even make them anymore.
  • I love those Cape Cod brand chips but they always run right through me.
  • Chicago or New York Pizza? - Chicago all the way, it really is orgasmic as hungryjoe says

    Pat's or Geno's Cheesesteaks? - I think I've only tried Geno's

South Carolina, Memphis, or Kansas City Barbecue? - I have no idea what's the difference there

    Brown or Yellow Mustard?

Regular or Fancy Catsup? - not a big fan of the Ketchups

Hot or cold Muffalettas?- never tried any.

    Dark, Milk, or White Chocolate?

Hot dog buns as God intended or those weird sliced bread travesties they have in Maine?
  • MMm...Cape Cod chips are the best. As for doughnuts, I liked Honeydew Donuts when I lived back east. Are they still around?

    Italian pizza for the win.
I actually like milk chocolate for normal occasions, dark chocolate for special occasions, and white chocolate when going against social customs.
As for "fast food", the only place I enjoy is In 'n' Out Burger. What kinds of fast foods do you guys/gals enjoy?
  • In 'n' Out is great.  The only other places I go regularly that could be considered fast foods are taquerias, and that's stretching the definition.
  • As for doughnuts, I liked Honeydew Donuts when I lived back east. Are they still around?
Yeah. They've carved out a loyal "I hate dunkin` donuts" following.

Arby's can be okay every now and then. There used to be a chain in KY called "Rax" that could be okay, but I think it's gone. Fazoli's is good.

The best delivery pizza used to be Godfather's. I think they've been relegated to the backs of gas station/convenience stores, if they even exist at all. As of right now, Pappa John's is the best national chain, followed closely by Pizza Hut. What would we have done in high school without a Pizza Hut?
  • Haven't you ever eaten anything that was nearly orgasmic?
    Banana Chimi, every time.
Recipe? Where do I find me this mysterious Orgasmic Banana Chimi?

That's a long road trip for me. Does this recipe look similar?

    Close, but not quite.

What's different??? Can you assist my O-Chimi-Experience here?

I don't know. I eat it, I don't cook it. Why don't you call the restaurant and ask?
  • Pizza Hut??? Eck, their pizza gives me the runs. Dominoes make a great crust but that is about it. I aim for the local pizzerias who make the thin crust pizza with plenty of toppings. A little pineapple on top and some ranch sauce for dipping and I'm super happy!

As for Arbys, when I used to eat there I always felt sick afterwards. For some reason I can always enjoy some Taco Bell burritos.
  • There is this place by my mom's house that is like a subway for pizza (a buncha stuff you can just dump on), and then you cook it at home. It's always the awesome.

Uhm... I don't really like chocolate... at all. Not even ice cream. But, I do admit to liking the Peanut Butter cups, but only for the peanut butter.

There's a great mustard they make at Texidelphia that goes great with their cheese steaks... especially when you put some extra cheese and mushrooms in, maybe even some pepperoni. A party in your mouth.

Lastly, I don't like hot dogs. I've always been more of a Burger kid. But if I do have a hot dog, I'll have it like I have my tater tots... with some mustard.

I do know I left some stuff out, but that probably means I didn't care to much for it.

Arby's is one the most hated places in my mind. Number one hated place is this chicken place called Bojangles. Luckily they all closed in my part of the U.S.

Taco Bell? Try Qudoba. It's Taco Bell gone epic level.

Man, I've been going against everyone today...
I kinda like Arby's. Then again, almost nothing makes me sick to my stomach. That I've eaten. So far.

I'm not the only one who doesn't like chocolate! Woo! I was convinced I was alone in the world in my dislike of it.

    Yay us...? :P
People think I'm crazy cause I don't like it, but that's not the real reason...
  • I don't like Taco Bell, but I do enjoy Chipotle. I eat there practically every Saturday. The trick (at least at the restaurant near me) is to order extra rice. After all other ingredients are added, the burrito is much larger than normal.

Pizza is best at local places. If that's not possible, due to monetary or time constraints, a nearby dominos or pizza hut isn't too bad. Also, pineapple... on my pizza‽ For shame!

Pineapple and sausage pizza is the win.
  • Pineapple should never be on a pizza. In fact, pineapple has no business being on anything. Pineapple sux.

My dad used to LOVE to make ice cream. Unfortunately, the ONLY flavor he ever made was pineapple. I would ask him to make, maybe vanilla, just once, but NOOOOO. It always had to be pineapple.

You are right that pineapple should never be on pizza. However, pineapple itself is fucking awesome.
  • Pineapple is, indeed, fucking awesome. Pineapple and ham on pizza is double-plus-fucking awesome.

    That post is double-plus-plus correct.
  • Chicago or New York Pizza? - If pizza can't fold when you eat it, it's not pizza.

Pat's or Geno's Cheesesteaks? - Jim's on South Street. As a bonus, Philadelphia Soft Pretzels FTW

South Carolina, Memphis, or Kansas City Barbecue? - Brown sugar base Georgia Barbecue

Brown or Yellow Mustard? - Brown

Regular or Fancy Catsup? - Fancy

Hot or cold Muffalettas? - Hot with no olives if possible

Dark, Milk, or White Chocolate? - What kind of question is this? White chocolate is far superior

Hot dog buns as God intended or those weird sliced bread travesties they have in Maine?

Also, brown mustard and chili on hot dogs. No, not bean chili, hot dog chili. Meat, tomato sauce, a bit of spice. And please, please order pizza from a local place and not a chain. Chain places are fine when you're in college at 1 am, but not when you actually want to enjoy your pizza.

You guys are insane. The Maker never intended for us to fold pizza. It's unnatural and counter to His will.

What?!! Hot may be an option, but if it doesn't have the olive salad, it's not a Muffaletta. The olive salad is what makes a Muffalletta. A Muffaletta without olive salad is like a Rueben without sauerkraut.

Agreed. As for pizza, I prefer wood fire pizza. I enjoy going to The Rock for pizza. My favorite one is My Generation which is: Cream sauce, peppercorn ranch dressing, chicken, bacon slices, red onion, swiss and mozzarella cheese, and parsley. They have other pizzas thare are quite tasty, but My Generation is by far my favorite.

Chicago or New York Pizza? - Neither, wood fire pizza FTW!

    Pat's or Geno's Cheesesteaks? - Haven't had either.

South Carolina, Memphis, or Kansas City Barbecue? - Guamanian BBQ ^^

Brown or Yellow Mustard? - Yellow

Regular or Fancy Catsup? - Fancy-schmancy

Hot or cold Muffalettas? - Never had the pleasure of eating, however seeing the links, I am curious to try one.

Dark, Milk, or White Chocolate? - Milk

Hot dog buns as God intended or those weird sliced bread travesties they have in Maine? As God intended.
  • This thread is bad for my diet.
  • Pineapple is, indeed, fucking awesome. Pineapple and ham on pizza is double-plus-fucking awesome.
Agreed. My thing that I randomly say when all my friends are quiet is "I like pineapples. They kill my friend Steve." Yeah, I have a friend who loves them but can't eat them. On pizza it ruins the pineapple and vice versa.

On pizza I really like pepperoni and banana. I'm not joking it's actually very delicious. I get a lot of weird comments about it.
