The lack of boxes makes the page look much cleaner, and the various post backgrounds are kinda sweet. However, there's only one feed link. Are you going to still do separate feeds for each night?
There aren't just going to still be the four feeds, there are going to be even more feeds. We are trying to redesign the site in such a way that people who don't know shit about podcasting will not be confused. Clicking the subscribe link will take you to an entirely separate subscription page that will not only provide links to all the necessary feeds, but also help complete podcast nubs learn how to use podcatchers and such.
One question about the new design, and I'm sure that this is the question most people here will be concerned about, how will this new front page design affect the look of the forum? Will it get a matching theme eventually?
I'm too lazy to change the colors of the body text but a combination of navy blue and some neutral colors should be fine. Also if you can change the color of the subscribe thingy from orange to gray that would be great, too.

Oh mans, your design skills are the helping!
However, why don't you think it is a good idea to have the subscribe link be orange? The RSS subscription icon has been standardized as being orange, and I really want it to stand out so more people learn to subscribe.
I also dig Ametto's revised version though I'm with scott on the orange RSS icon...standards are good. I think just changing the background and top border to be similar to Ametto's would look great, leaving the lighter blue color behind the stuff on the rest of the page.
I'm loving it! The icons in the background don't get in the way of the text, and the lack of boxes make it flow very nicely. Seriously, it's just greatness in the form of a webpage.

It'll be the only thing that's orange. Thus it'll have more importance than your logo and it's kinda weird having only one orange thing on your site. Though now that I that I think about it, that might be a very good thing.
I'd put the sidebar in a separate box with 7 pixel or so between the main section of the home page, align the text to the right to direct the view to the middle of the page and maybe have it stay on a certain position on the screen.
Also when you want people pay attention to the subscribe option you could use something like this
onto the right blue area next to the main section.
(Didn't have a lot of time at hand, I can redo it if you want me to)

Also, does anyone have better color suggestions?
Gah! I'm so conflicted!
