That's a really clever idea. I've already put binder clips to a variety of uses in my life ("hipster pda", closing bags of chips, attaching a mirror to my Cintiq) -- I'll have to investigate this one.

They make colored ones with coated grips, which have become infinitely useful in our kitchen. Using them to hold cables is genius!
RE: clips with cables - That is pretty ingenious, and I have the proper equipment, but not really necessary in my circumstance. Only things I plug in are my iPod and camera, and both cables are on my desk already.
Just downloaded Flash 10.1. Gone from 720p with some lag to being able to do 1080p flawlessly with about 32% CPU usage while my nV8800 does all the work.
After some digging to see if my laptop's ATI card will run it (Though I'm doubtful.) it seems like it's the 8000 series onward that supports UVD2, the stuff that makes GPU rendering work, though I haven't looked into this much.
