    Reason #20562342 why hockey is awesome:
    The Phoenix Coyotes, who haven't been in the playoffs for six seasons and were pretty much about to the relocated in the past offseason, have won 9 in a row to overtake the San Jose Sharks (who conveniently lost to the worst team in the league) for 1st place in their division and are in fact challenging for the 1st place in the Western Conference. However, one of the reasons why the Coyotes sucked so bad in recent years is that the best player to have ever played the game turned out to be a terrible coach. Good thing Gretzky was fired after the team was sold in the summer.
