I have absolutely no fucking clue about any of that, but it seems really quite interesting. I'd be quite interested to hear what Rym has to say(or can say, at the least) on the topic, it's quite fascinating.
This is an hour long tribute to everyone's favorite WB cartoon from the 90s as done by the Nostalgia Critic. I say it is better then the DVD in content.

Watched it earlier off Viga's wall, it's very very good.
Advertising campaign against the right wing before our upcoming election. Perhaps not the most dignified add, but novel and entertaining as far as these go.
apple action news also did an excellent piece on the whole matter
Goddamnit, That's a 747 in the video, not an Airbus A320 - You can tell by the door it's a Boeing, and you can tell by the shape on the outside that it's a 747. Why does this annoy me so much?

Wait, They'll send us into a time warp to when we had a budget surplus? Shit, what are we waiting around for? Nah, that aside, There was a pretty good one before the movie tonight, an animated "Puppet show" showing Labor's recent history. It was the usual Propaganda garbage that both parties pump out like so much sewage, but it was actually pretty funny and clever, too. I think I'm becoming less of a political animal, these days - I even missed the chance for a good old fashioned monstering on the state members, and went to a punk/rock show instead. I think I'm going soft.

Had a funny thing happen while at the Scott Pilgrim premiere last night... this morning?
Before the movie started they showed a trailer for this movie called "the Devil," (I think.) It seems to be about 5 people trapped in an elevator, but then something starts trying to kill them, and you aren't sure if its one of the people or something sneaking into the elevator.
So it seems like kind of an interesting horror/thriller movie, but then about 3/4 through the trailer the following text appears on the screen, "Written and Directed by M. Night Shyamalan."
What followed was the entire audience letting out a collective pained sigh ("Ugh...") Which was itself followed by everyone in the theater laughing for the rest of the trailer at the unison reaction we all had. It could have only been better if someone at that moment had yelled, "What a twist!"
I like how they're completely switched the visuals around. Everything is bright and sunny and they have American flags and patriotic symbols everywhere.

Looks like a steampunk/dieselpunk/atomicpunk battle angel world. All the rich and powerful live on airship cities and from what it looks like all the peasants and proles toil on the surface. Looks very interesting.
I'm extremely disappointed in the new Bioshock announcement. It seems to me that the franchise has run it's course. Why not develop a new System Shock, or even better yet, SWAT V?
Why do they feel the need to keep the Bioshock name and the Big Daddys. Why not make something new?

My sister and I laughed our asses off when we saw this on TV.
