My hometown hockey team just won their 10th game straight. For reference, this is a 54 game season in the Austrian national league. I think this deserves a TotD mention
Don't quote me on this, but I think a Study abroad visa here will allow you to work a bit. I'm moderately sure, but not entirely - so, as long as we don't crash horribly from parity, then you can go back with extra in the kick.
Oh snap! Shouldn't be too big a deal, anyway. It'll be roughly the same as paying living costs in Champaign, which I manage.
I totally misread that as that you'd be paying the same in living costs as you do in champagne. But at the very least, it seems pretty reasonable - after all, do they expect you do finish (for a random pulled-from-my-ass example), a 4 year degree here, without being able to support yourself? They'd have to be mad.
Edit - Actually, that they'd have to be mad doesn't make it any less likely, considering. It'd be worth a spot of research, at the least.
So, I just had to reinstall Windows, so it was my first chance to really use Ninite, which I learned about from this very thread (thanks, trogdor42!). You go to the site, you check all the software you want (and it has most of the free software that you'd want) and it makes you one custom installer that you run, and it downloads and installs all of them, without you having to click a damn thing. Amazing.

Yeah but can I set them to install to C:\Apps\ instead of C:\Program Files (x86)?
