It's basically their popular "Unearthed" show spinning off into a separate station, only playing new, independent, and unsigned Australian music. And naturally, it will be available via streaming(to you lot) and Digital Radio(for us) from October 5th. Why is this Important? Well, here's some bands that came out of Triple J's Unearthed:
-Grinspoon -Killing Heidi -The New Egyptian Kings -The Aardvarks -Missy Higgins -Red Rocket -The Bumblebeez -The Fuzz -Band Camp -Young and Restless -Y -Stonefield -Art Vs Science -JuJu Eyeballs -Boy and Bear -The Middle East -John Steel Singers -Little Red -Washington -illzilla
It's all new, it's all exciting, there is none of this Manufactured and autotuned pop/(xyz's) got Talent/xfactor/whatever bollocks. I mean, You know how I do about music, and I'm SUPER excited for this.
I'm doing a (free) operating system (just a hobby, won't be big and professional like gnu) for 386(486) AT clones. This has been brewing since april, and is starting to get ready. I'd like any feedback on things people like/dislike in minix, as my OS resembles it somewhat (same physical layout of the file-system (due to practical reasons) among other things).
I've currently ported bash(1.08) and gcc(1.40), and things seem to work. This implies that I'll get something practical within a few months, and I'd like to know what features most people would want. Any suggestions are welcome, but I won't promise I'll implement them :-)
PS. Yes - it's free of any minix code, and it has a multi-threaded fs. It is NOT protable (uses 386 task switching etc), and it probably never will support anything other than AT-harddisks, as that's all I have :-(.
I hated Dark Crystal. Since it's Luke Crane, I'm sure this will be awesome, but his name attached to that property just seems like a strange and great gap between quality.

Here's some videos.
Now, who's willing to do a flash-Steel-Battalion-LAN-match with me?
Side note: It's such a shame Steel Battalion used an Xbox 1 connector and not USB.

Hello everybody out there using minix -
I'm doing a (free) operating system (just a hobby, won't be big and
professional like gnu) for 386(486) AT clones. This has been brewing
since april, and is starting to get ready. I'd like any feedback on
things people like/dislike in minix, as my OS resembles it somewhat
(same physical layout of the file-system (due to practical reasons)
among other things).
I've currently ported bash(1.08) and gcc(1.40), and things seem to work.
This implies that I'll get something practical within a few months, and
I'd like to know what features most people would want. Any suggestions
are welcome, but I won't promise I'll implement them :-)

This could be awesome.
