Paul Miller, writer for The Verge, completely disconnected himself from the Internet a year ago today. As of midnight last night, he is back online, and his experience might not be what you expected.
Fascinating article and powerful video feature, seriously worth a read.
I really liked this exchange from near the end of the article:
"What do you want to do when you get back on the internet?"
"I want to do things for other people."
For the record, I've really enjoyed every Verge-produced mini-documentary I've watched so far.
This is an interesting read. NSFW I guess since there's a couple butts and whatnot, but not relevant to the content. Also I like how the eventually just keep asking about Half-Life 3.
