I know that; I have been watching closely. I think he has won recently because Super Tuesday was so close. The primaries from here on out are going to be happening less frequently for a while.
"In the Chesapeake Rout, according to exit polls in Maryland, Obama won: Latino Voters By Six Points: 53-47 All Religions (Including Catholics) All Age Groups (Including Seniors) All Regions All Education Levels And Women by TWENTY ONE POINTS... "
Obama tends to win in states when he is able to work on them a while. Since he is not as know a public figure as Hillary Clinton.
On another note: I changed my party to democrat and donated money to the Obama Campaign. I'm all ready to vote in PA on Apiril 22th.
Though I have to say, with a full month between PA's primary and the ones before it. People in PA are going to be crushed with political ads and rallies!
A lot of people are saying that Obama will not have a chance against McCain, but around half of the Republicans hate McCain. How do you think this is going to play out.

Hillary v. McCain would be close. Close like Bush v. Gore or Bush v. Kerry.
Obama v. McCain would be like Reagan v. Mondale. McCain would maybe carry Arizona but that would be it.

This is the Clinton campaign trying to get people to appeal towards her "extensive" foreign policy. It's mostly just her trying to salvage her campaign.
If it is Clinton vs. McCain Conservatives will hold their nose and vote for McCain. The hatred of Hillary runs too deep.
If it is Obama vs. McCain many Conservatives will either vote for Obama or sit this one out to send a message to the party leadership that they should not be taken for granted.
Policy-wise Clinton and Obama are very much alike. The reason many Conservatives will allow an Obama presidency is two-fold:
1. Send the anti-McCain message to the RNC. 2. They feel that Obama does not have enough experience or substance to do much of anything while in office. They expect he will flounder so badly that the White House will easily go back to Republican hands in 2012 without too much damage.
With Hillary it is a case of fear and loathing. We know Hillary and we do not want her in charge of the White House. Besides, as bad as Bill Clinton was he was very charismatic and part of you wanted to believe he had the best of intentions when he screwed up.
Hillary? She has no charisma and she reminds me of an old bitty who is pissed off and is looking to the nomination as something that is due to her, as if she has a right to it.
Having a Democrat as president is injury enough. Having it be Hillary just adds insult to the injury.

If that's what "they" feel, then they're idiots. GWB has "floundered" worse than anyone in history. It's probably not even humanly possible to have a term as bad as either of his. The Republicans will have to wait a lot longer than 2012 to get back into the White House. In fact, the way it's going for them now, there might not even be any Republicans by then.
Yes, that is how they feel. The opposite is what is true.
Obama has been able to put together an organization like no one else. He has an awesome campaign offices in every state and he is blowing the doors off of the Clinton machine. I think Obama will be the first former Senator to be elected President who has real executive experience.
In one of my classes today, the professors asked for a show of hands. This is in a classroom of 300+ people, mind you. Barack got almost the whole room. Hillary and McCain got about 10 hands each. (Ron Paul got 3.) These are all college-age kids, though.
I'm beginning to become excited in spite of myself. If the young crowd really supports Obama, he might have a chance. I just hope that his support doesn't fade like Eugene McCarthy's youth support did.

I think you mean George McGovern there. McCarthy never got to a general election.
That is the main worry for Obama's campaign, though. While he has support among all groups, youth are kind of his secret weapon, his knockout punch. If they drop out between the end of the primary season and the election (or even during a protracted primary season) that leaves Obama in a very precarious position for the general. Yet another worry if the Dems don't get it sorted out soon...
Also, was anyone watching the speeches tonight? Obama cut Hillary off... wonder who made that decision.
He cut Hillary off because she didn't give any indication of a concession. I can't say that I blame him.
I just don't know what Hillary is thinking. Either she's and idiot or her advisers are. She gets a national audience last night and she gives the same old boring speech that isn't working.
She got KILLED last night in WI. WI is a state that was really good for her demographically. Nonetheless, she got trounced. Even if she wins OH and TX, she has to do so by a large margin. That's not looking likely.
And yet she gives the same boring speeches.
Look for a tear or two, since that's what gave her the win in NH. Although, she can only do that so often before she looks weak.
Say, remember last summer when Obama said "If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf will not act, we will.", and all the conservatives started yelling about how he was "inexperienced" and "naive"? Well then, why is the current administration doing the same thing?

What? You don't remember the "Clean-for-Gene"? campaign? He ran in a general election in '68, '72, '76, '88, and '92. His only real shot was in '68 when the kids were so strongly supporting him

I agree. Pakistan is not exactly a stable country right now and jumping in without permission is likely to lead to bigger problems down the road.
What really bugs me is that someone in the Intelligence field decided to leak this story in the first place. They probably thought it would be good to do so because it is a successful mission but they failed to think through their leak and the repercussions that would come later.
I tend to think that anyone found leaking classified or sensitive information, in a time of war, should be executed. Operational security is too important to have it risked by some administration official (on condition of anonymity) leaking it to the world just to try and score some brownie points.
Another point to consider is that there may have been a deal made with Pakistan where the US takes out the terrorist and Pakistan says they were not told. Kind of like when your boss walks in on you banging your secretary and he tells you he is going to walk out and walk back in 5 minutes later having not walked in or seen anything.

Obama: "One does not simply Barack into Mordor."
All the other stuff is ridiculous and incredible, though.

I predict.
Hawaii going to Obama probably with 10 to 15% advantage.
Wisconsin going narrowly to Obama, probably within a few percentage points.
