Not a great fool, but the Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged website has a Zorc & Pals theme, new Zorc & Pals full episode, and a supposed "Final Abridged Video Ever." Kinda okay effort, but at least it produced a funny video.

  • Every link on Youtube's front page Rickroll's you. Classic.
  • Wow, I previously said Google had a lame April Fools day...but I guess I was wrong.
  • Photobucket's Gnome Depot.
    Weregeeks "comic".

Weregeek actually pissed me off. I love that comic!

I found 4Scrape's prank to be amusing, and it is (surprisingly) safe for work!
EDIT: I really want this from ThinkGeek.

  • If you have an iPhone, be sure to try the Brain Search on Google.
  • GWTB comic.
It's another fun comic if you ask me, just peel.

You should've made a screenshot, since the guy's too lazy.
  • This isn't really an internet joke, but I didn't feel like making a new thread.

Just to be silly I just played a joke on my boyfriend. Since he doesn't have access to a computer at work, I call him during the day from time to time when I read news on Kotaku about stuff he could be interested in. He is also a big time fanboy for Final Fantasy VII, and frequently talks about how he hopes Squenix will redo FF7 with updated graphics and proclaims it will happen one day.

So I call him up and say, "Honey, guess what. So, I'm reading Kotaku and Squenix finally announced they have been working on redoing FF7 with up to date graphics and it will be released early next year!"

"OMG, REALLY? That's so awesome! I knew it! I knew it!"

    "APRIL FOOL!"

(Silence) "That wasn't very nice at all, Rochelle."

"Hahahahaha, yes it was! I love you, bye!" (hang up the phone) :3
  • I actually got April fooled by quake live. It wasn't until I started reading the improvements that I realised it was a prank. Granted, it didn't last for more than half a second but I actually thought that there was an update.

That was not safe for work, jackass.

It's back to normal now. Normal is NSFW.

I missed 4scrape's prank. What was it?

Also, I love the Lightsaber zipper on that sleeping bag...

Replacing everything with Soseseki in a black dress.

What a fail. At least he should've set the server so that it would do that when it is April 1st for the person browsing.

Agreed. The "desu~!" thing has been around for a while and the prank wasn't even creative.

Here's Marvel Comics' weak-ass prank. All the Marvel people on Twitter are in on it. No creativity in this one.

  • I fucking hate April Fools Day. I wish it would fuck off and die.
  • Oh right, that's tomorrow.

    Play him off, Flugelhorn Feline!
  • Think Geek has a pretty good showing for today - and even some actual merchandise. If you spend $15, you get this shirt free (or you can just buy it straight up), immortalizing Ken Jennings' now-famous "I for one welcome our new computer overlords," plus some pretty funny other "new" products. Off to a good start, I'd say.

Actually, those De-cinema 3d glasses would be a good actual product - Not hard to do, either, you just have both lenses polarized in the same way, rather than having oppositely circular polarization.

Yeah, I was thinking exactly this. I think you could actually sell it to some of these anti-3D people (who apparently don't realize that you can just go to the 2D theater instead, given how much they whine about it).

I agree - some of these "joke" products are actually pretty cool. Thankfully, there's a section where you can check which ones you'd actually like to see up for sale (if you try to actually buy one you'll be sent there). I checked that and the lightsaber popsicles (why did no one think of this sooner?), and I think something else, but it escapes me at the moment. Still, good show, Think Geek.
  • Arsenic-consuming brine shrimp won't be too far-fetched in a decade or so.
