    One hazard of sending out anime convention panel status updates on April 1st is that people wonder if you're serious about their panel being accepted/denied (happened to me a few minutes ago).

    Yeah, that didn't happen for me. It probably has something to do with the fact that you published something today.

    I got April Fool'd pretty hard by the anime Working!!/Wagnaria!!, which said it's new season was going to feature new characters, who were all happy, but just at the same restaurant. And this would make sense, because there's an online version of this series which is different than the manga/anime series, which was very sub-par at best. (Possible workplace comedy turned out to be bullshit, romantic comedy about quirky people).

    However, I learned today through ANN that was an April Fool, but the series still got renewed. And it's getting passed over to an anime director who did two of the worst animes I've ever fucking seen.
