Scott! You do know that letting a person run two accounts is against the rules, don't you?!
Can also lead to both accounts being deleted.
If you are ready to give up on the game then just send all of your resources to the people around you. Downgrade all of your buildings and send those resources out by ship.

That would require time and effort, two things I am no longer going to spend on this game.

Then get rid of your military, all buildings (except Town Hall), max out your lumber and resource productions and announce your colony to be fair game for raiding.

Again, that would require time and or effort.
There is no time delay when you demolish a building.
The reality is that: 1) Only one person has attacked me, and it was meaningless. The military component is just a waste of time for me. 2) It's not challenging. The only commodity that really limits you is time. With time, you can get everything you need with no challenge whatsoever. The citizens are brainless dolts. If they aren't happy, the only thing they do is to refrain from making babies. They'll still work in the mines. They'll still chop trees. There are no random events.
Also, it doesn't look like you can really take over someone else's town. From what I've seen, you can harrass the heck out of someone, but that's about it.
I like the concept. It just needs some work.
Yeah. What it really needs is to make you spend less time just acquiring shit and more time fighting. I was pretty interested for the last couple of days because I thought that eventually there would be some decent fighting.

That's the problem with the social aspect of the game. You can't have new people unless they get protection.
I have an idea that I think would work. Have smaller games where everyone gets "x" number of moves per day. Everyone starts with nothing and everyone starts at the same time. The game plays out until one person or alliance has taken control of the world. You could have games starting every week or perhaps every couple of days.

The web game I talked about in the show that we played back in the day was like this. I know there are games like this out there, I just have a hard time finding them.
Is there any way to send citizens to a colony after it has been formed?
Kinda...
The only way you can currently do this, is to create a troop unit, move him from one city to another, and then fire him. This will add the unit's population worth to that city.
Admittedly this is not the best solution, but maybe it will be implemented in future versions. It is only v0.2 right now.
It'll be fun to log back into your account in a month and see the massive amounts of gold you have, if you don't get attacked that is.
o Phase 0: If somebody takes no action within 5 hours after registering an account, it will be immediately deleted. o Phase I: Within the first 7 days: - Time until inactive: 2 days - Time inactive until deletion: 2 days o Phase II: Two weeks up to a month: - Time until inactive: 7 days - Time inactive until deletion: 4 days o Phase III: 1 month to 3 months - Time until inactive: 7 days - Time inactive until deletion: 14 days o Phase IV: from 3 months onward: - Time until inactive: 7 days - Time inactive until deletion: 30 days
In the inactive phase the resource mining of all the player´s towns is reduced by half
So the solution is simple enough. Just log in once a week (or longer depending on how long you've had the account) and just upgrade something over time.
It seems to me like this is how it always goes with the FRC forum and games. Total obsession for a week before total denouncement or cease to play. See Team Fortress 2, Desktop Tower Defense, Battle for Wesnoth, etc.

It makes sense. When something is new, you are lured in by its shininess and potential for awesome. After you actually dig deeper into something you usually discover that it falls far short of the potential. The novelty and shiny factor wear off, and you move on. Expectation is always better than reality.

I suggest, the FRC forum as a whole create a browser game. If we only get to designing it, that's fun in itself. They who agree say aye and give feedback.
For the fuck of it I'm going to move to the South East part of the map It'll take me a day before the ships get there, and then I'll be deconstructing my first city. Now where should I go...
I'm going to keep going with it even if only to see how long it takes to max out a city. Most of my upgrades are taking 4-8 hours so logging in twice a day is enough for me.
