He was alive enough to post about it in the Fail Of Your Day thread, so he seems okay. Unless he got hit twice in the same day, in which case holy shit I hope he's okay. He's probably busy fixing his bike, though.
After class I went to my doctor just so he could make sure I was okay, then I dropped my bike off at the shop so they could make sure it was okay. Then I got home, had dinner, and I'm editing the episode as we speak. It should be up by midnight (my time). I would have edited the episode yesterday, but we had to investigate a copyright issue at work. Some idiot downoaded 20 gigs of hentai to a one of the common lab computers, 'course my coworkers had ME investigate...
Sonic, I hope the car accident mentioned earlier was not too bad! Also, I am currently listening to your debut FNPL host session. Way to carry the torch sir!
It didn't stop me from being able to listen to it; great show, by the way. However, the issue is that compared to every other podcast the volume is much lower, and it's annoying to have to change my volume around unnecessarily.
I am surprised at how lucid my string theory explanation was (given that it was 2:30 AM for me).
However, it seems to me that I have to look for ways, for when I am relating an idea to the other hosts, in which to state the point I am trying to make in a shorter much timelier manner.
"With the rise of a more cohesive Europe, united by more economic, military and social links than years past, do you see a future with three super powers(EU, China and USA), instead of the more common perception of a dual superpower system? In of this where to be the case, do you see it possible that the EU and the USA could maintain their current cosy diplomatic status, or will the current climate of anti-Americanism in Europe and to a lesser degree, anti-Europeanism in the USA mean that the two powers will part significantly diplomatically?"
Batman is fictional, and doesn't hold much interest for me in this regard. Between us we had a large enough variety of interesting experiences and stories to draw on without resorting to other examples.

Excellent job, Sonic! The production was very high quality. The only thing I'd say about it is that you should either have the finishing music and then close it off, or don't have the finishing music. It felt slightly odd the way it cut off.
Luke, Timo, Rym, Thaed - Also excellent, you all had very interesting things to say, and while it's not unusual for any of you, credit where credit is due, you were all eloquent, clear, well thought out, and intelligent in what you had to say.
One brief note on something I've noticed pertinent to the online alias discussion - That with the unified identity - Though Churba is a separate name from my real name, it's essentially interchangeable - people tend to call me by name depending on how they first met me. For example, though Grey, Gunter, Omnutia and Sonic all know my legal name, they tend to call me Churba instead. In fact, by extension, Sonic's sister(who met me though Sonic) and Omnutia's mother(Who, obviously, met me through Omnutia) both tend to call me Churba also - in fact, I'd be hard pressed to think of a time the latter had even used my real name, even though she knows it. And, of course, the Vice Versa is true - People who know me first offline tend to call me Scott, People like Punxie, Violet, Andy. The people who do as Luke would - to re-iterate(and add slightly) though he calls me Churba when we interact online, would call me Scott were he speaking to me in real life - are a rarity, most people only use one or the other unless in a situation where they feel there is a preference toward one name - for example, in an online game, friends from primarily the real world would tend to call me Churba more, as that's simply easier, as it's a space where everyone is using pseudonyms - Or at least, something like it, in cases like Rym's - and it is preferred for clarity.
I have a very common name which is why I use a pseudonym on the internet. (Scott Harrison. even with my middle name John is it still very common (seriously I come below This wikipedia page.) I have had two of them since I first got online in early 2000s and The current one is used almost everywhere. (I don't have it on youtube because someone else does. )

Sorry if that was too long winded.
