  • I like Flickr but I don't want to have to create a Yahoo account. Oh well, though, I'll probably cave in and make one.
  • Try Photobucket, I use it for misc images and keep Flickr for photos.
  • I've got a Photobucket account, and I love it except for the fact that I can't post anything bigger than 1024x768 with buying a pro account. I'll might just ditch Photobucket and move everything to Flickr.

Change your settings. Set it to allow a max of 1MB/image. You can post larger images then, as long as they are under 1MB. That's what I've been doing with my screenhots.

Makushimirian, that's an awesome background, can you post a link to the original please?

    Jimi Hendrix Wallpaper
  • I have also adopted the Hendrix wallpaper. It's too awesome not to.
  • @Logan: Why the very small icons?
  • @Logan: Why the very small icons?
No real reason, just to take up as least space as possible, and I like the look of it better than having big icons.
  • The Jimmi Hendrix wallpaper is too small for my computer, it has to stretch out too much. :(

Even with this size? What ridiculously high resolution are you using?
  • I thought the guy had a widescreen which would chop off the bottom.

Logan, never ran into this problem? Any forum I've ever seen that allows you to upload files with your post DO NOT allow you to hot link the thing.

No, I haven't actually. It seemed like that was the only way I could get it hosted and not shrink it. I won't then, I'll remove the link and just put the raw file.

You should probably wipe that vomit off your screen. It would be easier to see.

What the hell are the dimensions and the file size of the image that you want to upload?
  • Only 1680x1050.

Why would someone vomit all over a perfectly good album cover?

Nope, not good enough. I'm on 1920 by 1200. I posted my desktop near the beginning of the thread, one of the pictures should be the full resolution. (Or here's a link to a more recent picture)

Just up the jpg compression a bit if it's over 1MB. You can upload that stuff easily on to photobucket.
  • I've been rewatching/listening to Azumanga Daioh in the background as I sew or cross stitch. I've recently found this from 4scrape, as Jason linked in his blog.

  • I want that wallpaper. It will be the new background for my Windows Mobile phone.
  • From Jason's new favorite website.
