  • Google Voice lets you call dumbphones for free. (in the states)
    ^what I was getting at.
It costs money everywhere else but it is quite cheap, I will try it for a month and see if I save money.
  • Sony Vegas keeps crashing when I try to do things like "playback preview" and "add clip". Sony did release a patch for people who purchased it, which I did not. Piracy sucks.
  • I feel like you and I are the only people left here, Greg.
  • The thing is, so do I.
  • 17yos taking over :P
  • Only 1996 kids will remember this.

  • My fail!
So, recently I started to feel annoyance on the groin area, specifically on the right side.
I went to the urologist, she checked me out and said that everything down there was ok.
Huge relief, but it looks like I pulled a muscle while doing my 100 a day for 2 weeks crunches challenge. A muscle that is connected to my nether region of the right side.
So she told me to not do any extreme exercise and told me to get some motrin.
Just in case, I am getting an ultrasound to see there are any more muscle damage.
Piece of advice, don't ever do extreme core exercise everyday (P90X style).
    Now, I can't run, I can't do weights, and I can't do core.
I guess I could do push ups and yoga.
  • It would seem our reign is over.
  • I am still here.

Did it end up being an adductor muscle strain?
  • So I reinstalled Sony Vegas, finished my AMV, and now its rendering.

Nope, suffice to say that motrin works like a charm. If it were up to me I would go and run right now. But, my better self knows that would be stupid.

I want to see this AMV.

Working on that. First it spent 6 hrs idle, then it rendered the whole thing in a matter of minutes but without sound. Both of those were attempts to render in .avi, which I admittedly couldn't get Sony Vegas to work with in clips, so I'm not sure what I was expecting. Rendering as .avc now, but I'm not sure that I have anything that supports that (it seemed like a good idea at the time).
  • Not being able to do this classwork because it requires Office 2010 and I have 365.

UPDATE: My copy of Born to Run was faulty. Need to redownload the music, make a stinger, then render the video.
  • Well hurry up on tender hooks!

UPDATE: My copy of Born to Run was not faulty, it's just that everything but Windows Media Player decided to not use sound for about twenty minutes. Still not sure why it's working now, but it is.

EDIT: EVERYTHING IS FUCKING WITH ME. Restarting the computer in the hopes that that will magically fix everything.

  • Have you killed the ritual goat? I find that works best.
  • I did, but then Vegas got mad because it's a agricultural deity and demands sacrifices of crops instead of livestock. Now it's seeking vengance by crashing every time I try to render. I might have to re-re-install it.
  • Well in my infinite wisdom in fixing things walk away and leave it for half an hour that normally sorts stuff out.

Reinstalled. Rebooted. Crashed when I tried to playback. Gonna try installing and running it in Sony Vegas 11 instead of 12 and see if that can handle it.

EDIT: Well that didn't work. I wonder what I'll do next...

EDIT: Trying the upload to YouTube in-application thing that seems to be working.

  • Okay, so I told it to render, left to walk the dog, came back and the entire computer had crashed. What the fuck.
  • Is there some kind of compatibility mode in Office 365 that would let me run it as Office 2010?

No, but you can save files in 2010 compatibility mode.

I had my canalphones (Yamaha EPH-100) in a pouch today to protect them against entropy (in the form of tangling), but it seems entropy had the last laugh; I have lost the pouch.

Seems it was found in a friend's car. Ha, entropy!
