Plastic cards work, but I really don't advise using a card that you can't stand to break and go without for a while.
Part of the reason why I hold on to hotel card keys. They're quite useful for things like makeshift ice scrapers, picking locks on doors without deadbolts, and so on.

Shit yeah. Hell, you can even buy small packs of 1-2 mm plastic cardstock for pretty cheap that's hardier than any card you own, with hard square edges. Round the corners so it doesn't destroy your wallet, or just keep one or two in the glovebox, and you're good to go.
Your friends think you should get a job at what is essentially a service built to rip off people who don't know what they're doing, run by people who also don't know what they're doing.

I think you need new friends.
Meh, sometimes there are folks who work for GeekSquad who know what they're doing and don't try to rip people off, though those "smarts" need to be a bit on the sly about it so as not to piss off the incompetent management who want them to rip off people who don't know better.
I've known a few people who worked at GeekSquad who know what they were doing to help pay their way through school, for example. Of course, as soon as they graduated, they got real jobs and left GeekSquad behind.
Fail of my (mon)day: my heart stopped ~6 times, the longest duration I think was 7 seconds, and I ended up in the ER, then the ICU. I think I overdosed on some medication. Doctors aren't so sure and want to cover their butts, so they recommended a pacemaker, which I declined because I'm just sure it's the meds and 40+ years with an implant in my heart sounds like a greater risk.
Short version: Female game dev puts game about suffering from Depression (called Depression Quest) up on Steam Greenlight. Not only does she receive tons of comments claiming that because she is a woman, she can't truly understand depression or make a game about it, she receives lots of threatening and disturbing phone calls and emails from the darker parts of the internet (Like Wizardchan). People rally in support of her, and her game shoots up to 98% on Steam Greenlight, but other people continue to be misogynistic pricks.
It works really well for me. I feel it very closely represents how Depression can feel, and it also uses some clever game design choices to get across some very stark and upsetting but true facts.
It's a text adventure, so...If that's not up your alley, the game probably won't interest you.
The problem I had with depression quest was that nothing ever happened. Like, you need to have the character start out as a functioning person so that its established that they could be like that, and then the depression hits and they spiral.
Also, go back to bed isn't an option nearly enough.
What do you mean it informed you of it's existence? Where the hell have you been?
I meant informed me of Wizardchan's existence, sorry.
Holy shit that is actually a thing? Good fucking god. Edit: I just read a thread on it. Fucking hell. That is one fucked up pity party circlejerk. Edit 2: Oh god.
Do you think women have the ability to make accurate estimations? When a women sees a man and thinks, "he must be 6 feet tall!" he's probably 5'9. If she sees a man and says "he's too short, probably 5'8 or something lol what a loser" he is probably 5'4''. Measurements, and all things involving numbers, are beyond the understanding of women.
I didn't think people actually still thought like this in first world countries. I had more hope for humanity than this.
Our only saving grace is that these people will likely never reproduce.
Edit 3: The entertainer in me is getting evil ideas. I want to help these people, but in that "throw out everything a hoarder owns" tv show kind of way. "Un-Wizard the Wizards".... that could be a show on the Oprah network or something.
So the girl at work who is a terrible worker and plays the race card if you ever call her on it? Yeah, she played it because I was using the one working plug to recharge my phone and wouldn't move when she asked.
I'm really hoping she takes that one to management.
Another fail?
Friend who is passive-aggressive as fuck is coming to town and spending a day at Disneyland. He asked if I could drive he and a friend from there to where he is staying in San Diego. When I said I usually get off at 2 or 3am after 10-12 hour days use to the holidays, that no, I really wouldn't enjoy that extra 3 hours of driving.
He said they'd be hitch hiking. He's such an asshole sometimes.

So, that was fun. I'm at work today.
I should have expected there would be a place like this on the internet.

So is the game any good? It sounds like a strange idea to go with, not bad but Im not sure how it translates.
It's a text adventure, so...If that's not up your alley, the game probably won't interest you.
It's a serious game, but I think it's important.
Also, go back to bed isn't an option nearly enough.
