The DSi camera app hardly compares to the GB camera. When Beck starts making beats for his next album using the currently nonexistent DSi DJ app, then we'll talk.
I actually kind of want a good console Pokemon game.
I want a Pokemon game in which there are no random encounters and you can actaully study the habits and natures of the Pokemon. In this dream game, you would also be able to travel to every land from each of the generations and choose which group of starters you would like to choose from and also where you start. Character creation would, of course, be implemented as so that it could be some sort of massively multiplayer game (but not all the time).
So... basically Guild Wars but in a Pokemon setting?

Well considering that the apps were made with a Japanese audience in mind (emphasized by Rym in the live broadcast), a DJ app may not be too far behind.
EDIT: Also c'mon guys! I wanna see some creativity with teh demakes!!
Honestly, I'd love a demake of Fallout and Fallout 2. High-res graphics would be nice, but there are just a couple of interface issues that keep the games from being perfect -- a better inventory system (you're stuck scrolling very slowly through your entire list) and an option to speed up the turn-based combat (sometimes you get stuck waiting for 15 dudes to take their turn walking a little closer to you every combat round) would make them indisputably the best western CPRGs ever.
I thought the suffix alone would have been a tip-off.
What, "make"? Anyway, it was a pretty simple mistake. I didn't know what the hell a "demake" was, so I looked it up on Wikipedia, read the first few sentences, and thought I got it. But I didn't realize it had redirected to "remake". Really, "demake" doesn't say what it does either.

Rofl. Yeah "de" is a prefix, lordyupa.
Also, on the Wikipedia page about remakes, there is a section about demakes.
On that note, I've never heard of demakes before I read this thread. And due to what the Wikipedia article says, the only popular/known demakes are Gang Garrison and the Portal flash game. So they're really not that common, at all.
I would actually like the Sonic team to put some thought into the next game, doesn't have to be 2d but get back the same stuff that made Sonic and Sonic 2 so good. I mean look Street Fighter 4 went 2d and is great, nostalgia plus some thought behind a rerelease of a game goes a long way.

Codename: Gordon, anyone? Though it has since dropped off the Steam list. Apparently, the developer went out of business.

This is why I brought up the topic because there aren't enough of these, which is why I wanted creativity to be put into this. I'm not going to make any of these or nothing as I know jack-shit about computer programming, i just like seeing interesting concepts.
I'd also love to see a remake of the PC game the Syndicate.
I would love a remake of Dragon Force, for the Saturn or just port it to a current gen system. Sega even made a remake of it but it never came out here in the US
I would absolutely LOVE a remake or just a straight up port of all three parts of Shining Force III that also came out for the Saturn.
I don't know if this would work, but a Tenchu sequel using the Assassin's Creed engine would rock my socks.
I'd like to see a new Metroid developed by nintendo again but I'd be equally happy if Koji Igarashi's (castlevania) team was on it. Pilot Wings for Wii developed by a nintendo team. A new Twisted Metal for PS3 ( with single system co-op). A new Monster Hunter for PS3 too (with single system co-op). Remake of Shadows of Destiny.
In the shower today, I just had a crazy epiphany of a game I want to see: A pseudo-sequel of Fable (I just beat the second game) with a persistent world online. However, this wouldn't be a MMORPG: it would just be you and around 16 friends messing around a randomly generated version of Albion. You could do all the fun little diversions of the XBox games (buy property, get married and have a kid, initiate massacres that have long lasting impacts), but your decisions would change the world in ways that would affect other players, and would probably lead to cooperation (the weak player who's focusing on economics has to hire a warrior to kill a player acting as a bandit). Games would last about a week (IRL), and at the end characters get points based on whatever you focused on (with bonus points based on the overall alignment of the world and such).
It would be like Animal Crossing blending with a Rogue-like, but with an actual goal!

On another note, I'm pumped for Metroid other M. Though I don't have a Wii, nor will this get me to buy a Wii.

Also, Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 3 Plzkthxbye.
