George Will wrote this bit of insidious, victim-blaming screed for the Washington Post. I hope someone beats him to death with a three foot long rubber dildo.
Specifically I am referring to his comments on the ACA. Success of government programs like the ACA can not be measured in sign ups but must instead be judged upon whether it makes peoples lives better, worse or the same.
The sign up judgment was always a red herring narrative pushed by the media because it made for an easy talking point and sound bite.
Someone a while ago, might have been Andrew posted about allegations of dead hookers or something with Democratic Senator Bob Menendez of NJ. Probably about a year ago. Turns out it was a Cuban Plot. LOLZ.
So what's the deal with these camps, I feel it hasn't been well explained and the news assumes everyone knows already and just gives the latest sound bite about them.
Long story short: tons of unaccompanied minors are crossing the border and the US has no dedicated holding camps for children while they are processed.
