Fail: I came to visit my parents and when I set up my laptop here it blue screened every time I got into Windows. Boo-Yah: With Google I was able to find the guilty element and with Safe Mode I was able to deal with it.
Boo-Yah: Got my HTPC yesterday. Started downloading all the appropriate Steam games I wish to play on it. Fail: Had issues connecting it to my Homegroup Network. Took a while to realize that it was a lot easier to delete the Homegroup and create a new one from my personal PC. Boo-Yah: Started transferring all the videos on it. Fail: Cats decided to have a nice game of chase eachother and unplugged the power strip connected to my computer. Boo-Yah: Steam Big Picture is pretty slick.
Fail: NYCC Saturday tickets sold out before I could get them for my Sci-Fi club's group trip. (I'd chosen to hold off buying them until I could be sure appropriate reimbursements would go through). Boo-Yah: Kinokuniya still had them, so I narrowly avoided being a total failure. Side-Note: riding the subway with $1000 worth of NYCC tickets in your backpack can be a bit stressful.

Very much so. I had to pay rent late a few times by withdrawing cash and depositing it in my landlord's bank account, and that four block stroll (with $1000 cash in my pocket) was one of the most stressful moments in my life.
You guys are weird. I just spent a week in New York, and at all times I had way more than $1000 on me in cash, and other money in various currencies. I also had about $3000 worth of computer and photography equipment (current estimated resale value). I didn't for one moment think this was dangerous or stupid. The chances of you being robbed randomly is so small it's just not worth stressing about at all.
Fail: I accidentally butt dialed and left a voice mail in which some friends and I discussed the history of electronic vibrators. BooYah: It was on the phone of one of my friends who was in the conversation, and not, say, one of my parents.
Those first two things took literally less than two hours in total. On the same day. It's not that big of a deal. I mean, it's not like I have anywhere I have to be during the day.
They supposedly have great health insurance. Plus they have to brainwash you and make sure you're not a total techtard before they waste their time on you individually.
So this sounds like one of those pretentious "presence" stores, like Dell, or Apple, or Microsoft.
Yes, and they might want to give me money to work there. I see no problem with this. I was a camp counselor, man. I can presence and experience the shit out of you.

Oh I'm not saying you shouldn't take a job, I was just curious if I was right. :-)
I really wouldn't have a problem working at a Microsoft Store, but the closest one is in Santa Monica, which means just commuting there would cost a non-insignificant amount of money.

Welcome to America, Luke!
I ate half each of these two.

Causes a lot of confusion at the bank, though.

Oh well, next semester I get to apply for the Disney College Program for reals, and that is definitely a Booh-Yah.
Have been called back for an in-person interview after a group recruitment session and a subsequent phone screening. For a retail position.
Fail at getting a job in my field. Booyah I might soon have some small pittance of a paycheck?
