Methinks I found out who sucked at Goldeneye back in the day. :P
No, actually I did okay at it, but I didn't really see the point to it when there were better FPS games on the PC that were infinitely more fun to play. ;p
That is the most exciting thing on the 3DS, in my opinion. I've been begging for a new Star Fox for like, ever. This isn't totally new, but Star Fox 64 is worth buying again with this. There better be more than just better graphics, though.
I have to say, I really don't believe in "3D" (really, 2.5D) gaming. It's a gimmick and I hate it. However, if there's one company that can do it right, it's Nintendo.
This makes sense because they were talking about the 3DS being asleep, but still wirelessly connecting to other 3DSes in the vicinity, even if you didn't have that game intalled. I imagine if you have Pokemons, Animal Crossing, Nintendogs, etc. all installed and you walk around a convention, you will see a huge pile of goodies when you turn the shit back on.

I figure you will install some kind of "Tag Mode" app to your 3DS and that will collect this data for you. I don't think you'll install the whole game, just the program that lets you collect stuff from other people who have the "Tag Mode" as well.

I imagine your save game data will also be on the 3DS, for games that are coded to do so. This will solve the problem of going to the store and buying a used copy of Pokemon where all the Pokemon are named "PENIS."

Yeah, and we'll start getting memory cards for the 3DS' SD slot, because otherwise I will still never use the SD card slot.

And having had a cartridge with a ton of save data stolen from me in the past, I'd much appreciate this.
Is it sad that the ability to turn off the 3D is what sold me on the 3DS? Given that I'd just be using it to replace my old DS Lite when it finally gives out. Though the 3D camera will be useful for convincing my dad that we are in fact living in the future...

Edit: When Okami came out and people were like "Pfft.. Zelda clone." I was like "That should be a genre! Not an insult!".
..yeah, that's right. Also: Pilot Wings.
Then I saw Starfox.
Then, my wallet did a barrel roll.
Also, DS slot confirmed for 3DS. So I've also budgeted money aside for a 3DS-compatible flashcard.
There goes all my money.
And you may be able to install games to the 3D's memory.
I doubt it will curb piracy as much as, say, bringing prices down to realistic levels, but it's a nice start.
