  • I have the other three games on that list that aren't Goat Simulator, and Goat Simulator is such pandering nonsense.

    No.
  • Sounds like you're looking for something more hardcore. Perhaps you'd be interested in Rock Simulator.

    Pun intended.
  • Civ V or EU IV, or maybe both?
  • edited June 2014
    Both!
Note: I really like grand strategy games, so take it with a grain of salt.

Then he should buy it. I think he is secretly a masochist who enjoys things that he hates if only because he needs things to hate.

  • Goat Simulator on sale. Go buy Goat Simulator.
  • Looks like the card market has completely switched over to the new commodities market system.
  • What commodities market system?
  • I'm considering buying Goat Simulator, just because streaming it would be hilarious.

I'm also considering Bioshock Triple Pack. I already have, and beat, and will never play Bioshock 1, ever again. But to get 2 and Infinite, which I have never played, it's cheaper to buy the triple pack. I've heard 2 is awful, but I figure I can just play through them each once on easy or whatever to see what the deal is.
  • Strike Vector is 3 bucks for another 4.5 hours. This game is fantastic. You should have already bought it.

You've heard wrong. Bioshock 2 has maybe worse story than 1, but the gameplay and feel of it is better, so I wouldn't call it awful.

Agreed. I liked the actual game much more. The Minerva's Den DLC is supposed to be really good too but I haven't played it.

  • I also remember hearing great things about the Minerva's Den DLC for BioShock 2. The team that created it left shortly after to form The Fullbright Company and create Gone Home, so I assume story must be Minerva's strength.

Previously you would see a listing of all cards for sale and their prices. Now when you buy or sell you place your order and the system holds your order until a matching buy or sell order shows up.

So if you only want to spend $0.10 on something and the lowest price on that something is $0.20 the market will hold your ten cent order until someone sells that something for ten cents.

    Also this

  • Oh yeah, I noticed that on the sale cards, I guess they've expanded it out to other cards, too. Probably other stuff as well, now that I think about it.
  • Goat Simulator on sale. Go buy Goat Simulator.

    Damn, I missed it.

  • Transistor and Payday 2 are both on sale. I feel that this is important.
  • Figures. I thought Payday2 being on week long sale meant it wouldn't go cheaper.
    .
  • Man I love Super Giant and all but I bought Bastion for like 7 dollars, I can wait for Transistor.
  • Payday 2 at 6 bucks? Fucking buy it, you lot.
  • All of the Civ 5 DLC I need: $30.97 vs Civ 5 WITH all DLC: $16.49... WTF Steam???
  • So I just randomly got six cards for the summer sale without buying anything. Made enough money to cut the Tropico Trilogy pack down from $3 to $1.50

Done. Now I need to find time to play it.

Yeah, it is good though very slow starting. Also do not skip the tutorials, your people will die and you will have no idea why.

That's bullshit. I skipped the tutorials. They usually die because you didn't feed them enough or they didn't have fire wood.

  • Wolfenstein New Order is quite cheap at the moment considering it only came out just before the sale started.
  • I got that strike vector game. It's 3 dolla.

I played a bit of it, it's pretty fun.

Also, Shadowrun Returns is three bucks, and worth it for the price. It's like new Xcom but with Fireballs, and a few more creature comforts like an actual story.
  • I haven't played it for a bit but it's some good fun. Especially for that price.

Plus, there's a whole bunch of pretty decent campaigns on the workshop, so even after you're finished the main campaign there's plenty to do.
