I need to give massive thanks to Pete for letting me in on that game of Danger Patrol - it was my first experience roleplaying for more than half an hour, and it was FREAKING AWESOME.
Also, thank God PAX was at the beginning of Spring Break, now I don't have to do any real work for the next 6 days.
It was great to finally see you guys in-person for once! I probably didn't leave much of a lasting impression, but the awesome times I had playing games with you guys were quite memorable and fun! Everyone seemed really cool, and you were all very inviting and friendly.
Though I think you guys mistook me for Linkigi every once in a while, since we're both named Justin.

I forgot to say to you that you look damn good in the blazer and GL tee. Style geek!
It's hard for me to see the flaws in the convention like the rest of you, because a lack of comparison to other PAXes.
Excellent point. I could make several complaints about PAX, but it's important to remember they are within the context of PAX already being the greatest con around to begin with. We should be so lucky to have them improve year after year!
Other random things I forgot to mention: - This is the first PAX I came away from without any sickness! - A lot of people recommended Kingsburg, so I picked that up on the cheap as I was walking out on Sunday. It was either that or Ascension (the other game everyone loved) but I think I have enough deck building for now. - Big thanks to Scott for picking me up a scarf while he was on line at merch. - I think the Beluga pod worked out well. A bit chatty at times but I'd still rather have that than twitter or SMS. With me having to juggle multiple groups of people at PAX, it was incredibly handy to know when and where you folk were gaming.

Beluga was definitely a lifesaver. It was great getting in contact with everyone, and it allowed us to find each other with relative ease.
Yea the only problem is if you were not on Beluga you were left out :-p (F******) Hopefully by the next one they will have finished their blackberry app to not use SMS.
Winning Jungle Speed left handed after I injured my right hand was definitely my greatest achievement.

Rym had no trouble with his Palm Fail that didn't have an app.

Beluga wasn't sending SMS to my phone and I couldn't figure out how to turn it on, which was troublesome because I had to rely on my iTouch's wifi to know what was going on. That said, Beluga was awesome.
George is the Jungle Speed king. I'll have to train to rectify this.
I wouldn't say king...yet. But finishing my game while injured was definitely commitment.
I forgot to buy this. I wanted to master it and challenge folk at AB! ARGH! Next PAX I will fight you all! Also, I love Bananagrams and killed Matt at Scrabble. Shit, I just remembered I forgot to buy Bananagrams.
Let's use Beluga for all the cons a lots of us is at. Although, I had to buy a plan on Saturday to accommodate it.

I came by cafeteria Friday night but almost everyone was wrapped up in games so I broke out Jungle Speed. Taught two of my friends, plus Natalie and someone else who's name is escaping me, all how to play for the first time (I only learned a few weeks ago myself). People learn quick. I've got two nice scabs healing up as PAX souveniers.
I'm definitely too used to Scrabble, where I have a lot of time to find words and compare possible scores. I'm definitely going to have to get Banagrams and train my speed-wording skills.

I had to hone those speed skills myself at first since I so used to planning and prepping words in Scrabble. I wish we got to play a game. Stupid plane ticket.
Oh right! I need to send Phil my mailing address so he can turn a wooden Jungle Speed totem.
Also, I took a look at what's available overseas. It looks like there's this "reboot" of Jungle Speed called Jungle Speed: Flower Power, and that game also has an expansion. They look balls hard. I'm wondering if I should try importing them.

Word Forge is good for that at work when I am bored.

I actually found you guys at TT because of your distinctly awesome hairstyle.

Also, Jesus Christ, Viga was insane at Spot It!

It kicked some serious ass.
