Is it weird that I like a lot of music that was released before I was born? And is it bad that I am a whole lot less up to date about what is going on in music than I used to? Or would it be just bad if I thought that by default everything that is released today must be worse than what I listened to when I was a teenager (which I don't)?
You can look at it like games. You know those SNES classics will always be good and you tend to like other things in that vein. There's also new games that will most likely hit that craving. It's the same for music.
Not what I was expecting. One of my students asked the same question and everyone who drove stick drove one-handed, and all the auto people used two hands. Any non-Aussies?
Well, I drive two handed MOST of the time, but I think about it as that I have one hand on the stick sometimes(so to speak) and sometimes I'm smoking while I drive - but the majority of the time, I've both hands on the wheel while driving, because I don't have power steering, and the van punishes inattention.
Well sometimes I leave my left hand on the gear stick if I am frequently changing gears like racing someone off the lights or when the freeway is at a crawl.
The only other time I have it off is interacting with the radio or the phone or on the very rare occasion that I'm drinking and driving.
Regardless of whether I drive auto or manual, I sometimes let my right hand rest on my knee, where it holds the wheel loosely. Only on highways though, if nothing's happening. I'll keep both hands on even on abandoned country roads.
Auto. Most of the time I have one hand (left) on the wheel and the other doing something else. Unless, like Rym said, something is happening then both hands on 10 and 2.
I got an SNES emulator, a USB controller and a pile of games, and I want to relive the childhoods of people 5 years older than me or thereabouts. (I jumped from NES to N64) What games should I learn to love?
I drive mostly with one hand unless I see that something will require more precision, then I switch to two. In close traffic (as in, bumper to bumper on the 405), I hang one arm out the window, one hand on the shifter, and steer with my legs.

That pretty much describes my driving habits too (for the next 20 days).
Why aren't GPU chips replaceable on a video card like you would a CPU chip on a motherboard? Is it not technically feasible? economic reasons? just a dumb idea? why?
What was the name of that comic book that has a story on one side and a story on the other side of the book? One story is set in the future somewhere in space and the other is in the past on earth. I think Scott reviewed it awhile back.

The captions on the tiny plaque below the record are yours to make hilarious.

Usually with two (unless at low speeds or if I'm going super slow on a straight road).
Any non-Aussies?

On an empty highway, one hand at the bottom right, finger and thumb.
