  • I am getting a big solstice vibe from that.

  • OMG SOLSTICE

That's an interesting set of pieces. I like the theme and use of colour.

Are there any other board games, with design diversity on par with chess pieces?

While these designs are just miniature sculptures, I'm in search of original designs, however abstract.
  • How about the new Collections ed of Tokaido?
  • TOKAIDO - COLLECTOR'S EDITION

The figurines are cute and distinct. I like the coins too. Overall design, bit generic for my taste
  • The artwork of Tokaido is pretty hard to beat from my opinion. Sure there's great art on other games but everything on this board is great.

Even though we play a lot of 7 Wonders, Splendor and Wizard this game gets replayed for what I suspect are the aesthetics of the game more than the strategy.

Original (and unique) aesthetics is what I'm searching for.

  • Are zombies coordinated enough to climb up a tree? A single zombie specifically. I imagine a group of them could just dog pile each other too reach their victim. But I feel you would be pretty safe in dealing with a single zombie. I don't watch or read a lot media about zombies either.

Slow zombies no, fast zombies yes, fans of the Kardashians maybe (fnarf fnarf)
  • I've never made an AMV in my life lol. Should I do it on PC or MAC? I have both

Whichever machine is more powerful. Editing video needs powerful computing.

Which do you have quality software for?

MAC it is then. I don't have any special editing software other than the stock stuff.
  • I have a twofold question:
Do cheaper hotels have those carts for your luggage, and can you keep said carts in your room for a period of time?
  • Sometimes and no.
  • No, you can't do luggage cart races.
  • No, you can't do luggage cart races.

I had a different idea in mind than that.
  • No, you can't have sex on the luggage carts.
  • A luggage cart probably couldn't handle the weight of two people especially with all the gyrating.

I can say that they cannot.

It would have only been one person, maybe in a few awkward positions, but yeah, point taken. I've thought of better ways to enact this particular plan of mine.

    this particular plan of mine.

I'm still trying to figure out whether this phrasing is intentional.

Slightly intentional? It's not sex, but can lead to sex, and me and my girlfriend had had a good talk about it beforehand.
  • Rode 60km on my bike this weekend as a test run for potential longer distance things. Nothing hurts except for a bit of saddle soreness. How does one avoid a sore bum when biking long distance?

  • Are these dorky pants padded? Can they be found in American sizes in Japan?

Thanks to Yowapedal, I'm sure you can find some bicycle shorts in Japan that will fit you. They have a "chamois" in them.
  • I can barely find socks or normal pants that fit here; I have doubts about finding anything bigger than a 30" waist in a bike shop. While there are Yowapedal goods to be found all over, that doesn't translate to biking equipment for above average-Japanese size.

Engineer and biker checking in, this is in fact the proper process of engineering design. Don't fix the source of the problem, just throw a patch on the thing it fits to.
