970 for 1080p resolution 980 for 1440p resolution (and definite maxing of 1080p games or running them at 4k and downscaling) 980 TI if you have loads of cash or intend on playing at 4k (you're still going to get stuttering).
All my computers other than my desktop with 680 have trouble playing 4K video. There's not really a point since my screen isn't 4K. I imagine the next time I upgrade will be retina screens and enough horsepower for 4K gaming.
Ti series graphics cards are if you want more Cuda cores than your a-ver-age card and a bit more ram. A 980ti is, number for number, a Titan X with half the ram a pinch less Cuda cores.
Any recommendations for a place to buy a decent surplus flak jacket for cheap? I'm not some tacti-cool elite operator who needs a plate carrier and huge chest rig but the pockets would be handy and its at least a little protection if someone at the range is a dumbass.
So if I didn't get scheduled at work at all this last week and when I went in to get my schedule today she told me to come back in the morning and ask (a manager), I'm probably getting fired right? Or am I being paranoid?

When I was in highschool for some reason fucking best buy hired me and put me as a stock person and I was a super skinny not strong kid. Anywho the basically just stopped scheduling me for 3 months and then called to ask if I still wanted to work there.
Yeah they fired me this morning. They have a policy where they can just fire you for pretty much any reason within 30 days of when you actually start working there so I think the were just killing time so it didn't seem like they were firing me right away.

I've been there, I got fired for being too friendly to customers once, they worked me to the bone for the 30 days and then let me go.
Just submitted Junkman Radio to iTunes. Are there other podcast places I should be submitting it to?
I don't know if Pocketcasts has a submission section, but I also don't see a formal podcast feed, so I'm just using the blog's RSS right now.
Also most podcast app servers will just rip the RSS from the iTunes feeds. Otherwise having a web site where your RSS isn't a tiny link allows anyone to add it with a single tap.
About a year ago, on an episode of GK, you mentioned a small headphone amplifier. Maybe the size of a matchbox. (and apparently it was one that was better than a cigarette box size). Can anyone remember the name name or brand of that amp? Looking to boost my 3DS and iPhone. Thanks!!
