Note that I listed 3 maps under some of the categories because there were ties / near-ties for second and third in some of the voting. In any case, we can still do 2 maps of each type; we'd just have to spread it out over the course of several scrim sessions.
With 12 maps, we've got a few options, as 12 = 2*6 = 3*4.
In fact, rather than voting on the map order, we should probably just use random.org to work it out. We just have to settle some of the ties / near-ties first.
Yeah, I don't think we can do four teams, two maps, six game styles. That's 24 rounds if we do one round per two teams per map. At an average of ten minutes per round, that's two hours just doing the bare minimum. I'm thinking we do, say, the top map for each style this time.
You can't do one round for payload or attack/defend either; their asymmetry means you really need to let both teams take a turn at attacking and defending to see which one did the better job.
So, would there be enough time if we only pick one map for each game type?
Seven games, one random map from each category (six), plus a random map from the entire pool for tie breaker(seven game). Team A vs C, B vs D best of seven. Then finals between the winners of those two match ups. Best of seven in each series.
Games can be played on different days if need be. It's not necessary to do this all in one go.
BTW, I don't know if its a side effect of the all-talk thing, but when you die, you can see what the other team is up to, so that has to be fixed before the match.

Will A vs C and B vs D be using the same set of seven maps?
Here are the 6 maps that will be played, in the order in which they will be played: pl_goldrush (Payload) cp_gorge (Attack/Defense) koth_badlands (King of the Hill) arena_sawmill (Arena) ctf_doublecross (Capture the Flag) cp_granary (Control Points)
The tiebreaker map will be: koth_sawmill (King of the Hill)
If we're only playing one round on each map (in the case of an asymmetric map, one round would be for each team to take a turn at attacking / defending) then things are definitely a little scary, since a crazy unexpected strat might decide it, even if you'd be able to adapt to it upon playing another round.

Wait, I mean...
pl_goldrush (Payload)
cp_gorge (Attack/Defense)
koth_badlands (King of the Hill)
arena_sawmill (Arena)
ctf_doublecross (Capture the Flag)
cp_granary (Control Points)
The tiebreaker map will be:
koth_sawmill (King of the Hill)
Time to start preparing!
