I posted this in the WTF thread, but I'm posting it here as well because I've come to the (perhaps incorrect) conclusion that whoever sent me this package must be someone from this forum because:
a. They know me by the name Sonic. b. They are living in New York (everyone I know who lives in New York is on this forum). c. They were able to get my home address. Only a handful of people on this forum know it, but any one of them (except for maybe one or two) would give it to someone if they wanted to send me a gift (provided it was a trustworthy person). d. They were smart enough to cover their tracks by typing their note, not signing it, and sending the package from a UPS store rather than via USPS where they would need to provide their name and address. e. They know I like "My Little Pony".
Any one of these things could point in any number of directions, but combined they point straight at this forum. In any case, thank you, my second and really secret santa! You've managed to confound me and delight me all in one shot! ^_^
Woah now, Yonkers? McLain avenue? Yeah, that's ridiculously close to where I live, but I'm not the one who sent it.. I guess now I'm curious too, if only 'cause of the possibility that someone on the forums potentially lives within walking distance of me. :T
I love secret santa stuff. It extends Christmas to being a few weeks long... Now I've gotta wait for several packages. Secret Santa, some eBay board games..
Santa, I'll be going back to my college apartment on the 6th, so if you haven't sent my gift out by then please send it to the first address of the two I provided. Otherwise, send it to the second.
Dear Santa, I haven't gotten mine so I feel left out.
Don't worry Viga, your santa told me that, while your present hasnt gone out yet, that's only because he isn't done making it as awesome as you deserve.

It was I who sent the package. Check your messages for details. To anyone else wondering, I didn't realize I caused this kind of reaction my first time out, and for that I apologize. At least you sound pleased with what you received! If I do something like this again, I'll have to remind myself to not be accidentally secretive.
Mystery gift

I work not too far from McLean Avenue. Perhaps we can grab a bite to eat sometime.

I can't wait to see what I get!
Thank you, SantaREN! When I opened my present, shadoworc and I just sat in stunned silence, gazing at Kyubey. Most excellent gifts!
Thanks Santa! Actual real books! So much nicer to hold than my cold dead iPad
Being able to lend something to a friend is so good as well.
