Dear Santee, the shipper tells me that your gift arrived safe and sound. I hope you enjoy it!
Dear Santa, my gift sits under the tree, complete with its Customs sticker and New Zealand return address. It is already making me happy.
New Zealand aye..
I too have a present from USA, I can't remember buying anything recently off Ebay so perhaps it is my gift! I will treat it as such. Under the tree it goes.
Anybody in Australia? I'm wondering how long it usually takes for a package to get from mailing in the US to delivery in Australia.
From my experience, it's usually a minimum of a week, but it can take anywhere from a week to a month, it's honestly really a toss-up depending on what you're sending and what time of year it is. Around this time of year, if it's any way to guess it, any badges I'm sending out seem to be taking about two weeks to arrive.
That said, I also ordered a kindle on a thursday, and it was here on the monday, so there is also arcane magics that gets shit here right quick. Express shipping services will move it along well fast - even at this time of year, you can get stuff here pretty much as fast as you like, as long as you are not looking for overnight, since the travel time between the two is just a bit too much for overnight.
That said, remember - our customs service can be quite tricky. Be sure to double check that what you're sending is allowed.
I shipped out a necklace 2 weeks ago, and the customer was concerned. I said 2-3 weeks is pretty typical, but I wanted to check with some other people's experiences. Plus, it's Christmas. So... yeah.

Well, if you used regular post, it can take anywhere up to a month at this time of year. Australia post would be handling it at this end, it's going to be slooooooow.
I'm heading home for the holiday break, where I'll be for the next 2 weeks. So, if my Santa sent their gift, it'll be a little while before I actually get my hands on it. If my santa hasn't actually sent theirs yet, though, I'd be happy to give you my home address through Sonic.

I'm going to send you a box of spiders and kangaroo meat to see how customs handles that.
If someone in Australia wanted to send me some nice, tanned kangaroo hide or lacing to test customs, that would be cool. I'd throw myself on that grenade.

Considering the price of hides, you're looking at about 80 bucks for the hide, don't know on the shipping, but probably not a cheap price.
Man, I kinda felt like a jerk for just saying "surprise me" in my letter to Santa, but I didn't expect you actually would. I didn't even know they made a live action GeGeGe no Kitaro movie! Thank you, Santa!
P.S., the return address was kinda a dead giveaway to who you are, but still. :V
EDIT: Speaking of whoa, dammit phone, stop taking huge photos.
The fixings for Pete's Kickass Root Beer, a chain, and a wood pendant with the words "cold [the] sea - colder [the] night - when setting sail alone. Othen, ever-guide [the] oak [of] ship home [to] friend-fires" burned into the wood, written in viking. Holy balls.

Two, door man!
This is awesome. I'm gonna rock this at RIT.
Thanks Santa!
