Pretty good time, went up te island for christmas.
As for gifts: a t-shirt of my favorite band (Dr Teet and the electric mayhem) A japanese style pull-saw Coping saw A few good chisels Inherited a socket set to replace my eclectic collection of randomly sized sockets My Secret Santa smashed it out of the park with a bunch of wicked steam games Strike suit zero director's cut from Grey(which i need to tank him for, but internet connection is very shakey up here.)
What I got from others: Joss Whedon's Biography, Two new work shirts, A steal colored suit, Marvel; the untold story (The Marvel comics Biography) Machi Koro A leather bound copy of Street Grimoire for 5th Ed. Shadowrun, Munchkin Legends, and a Shadowrun fiction book.
I am thinking of exchanging the Munchkin: Legends for The Munchkin: Adventure time.
Dressing gown Gloves Giant Rubik's cube Magnetic ball bearings Mead A calendar featuring York (makes a change from NYC which has been the theme of my last 3 calendars) A Mouse Guard hardback The Man in the High Castle by Philip K Dick A pen that's got mini tools in it A beautiful blank leather book Fancy cooking oils A chocolate telephone And a European traditional bag of chocolates, nuts, sweets, gingerbread and biscuits.
I don't think I've ever seen a year where I have received so much (and my brothers had received so little in comparison). It was a little embarrassing, "and another one for Guy!"
Fancy leather shoulder bag PS4 w/ DA:I and Destiny and extra controller Hokusai book Dali pop-up book Nice leather gloves Pajamas a couple of sweaters wool socks scrapearound srs bsns rice cooker/steamer Cool coffee mug Weeping Angel nightlight Assorted edible delights slippers and more. My family is too generous.
GTA 5 Death of WCW 10th Anniversary Edition Three Ghostbusters Vinyl pop figures Socks, underwear and jeans Monty Python killer rabbit slippers an umbrella Shovel Knight on Steam And a few gift cards Overall some really thoughtful gifts. I'm not really a collector of such things but now I really want to get the last Ghostbuster to round out the collection. ... And maybe the Stay Puft one to cause he's freaking adorable.
Records, frames for hanging records, CDs I mostly already had digitally, books I don't want and won't read, books I do want but won't read, sweaters, a tee shirt from somewhere I've never been (my grandparents are amazingly bad gift curators), some Steam games (thanks, Ikatono!), Bruce Springsteen stickers, a notebook made from a Bruce Springsteen album jacket, and a complete set of Clow Cards. Pretty awesome Christmas.
Let's see... Various chocolates Amazon gift card A Guinness T-shirt Couple tree ornaments King of New York Fables vol 1 Assassin's Creed III Shadow of Mordor Scotland Yard (board game) And the best gift I didn't expect at all, a giant Appa plushie.
I also got a PS Vita and a digital piano for myself.
Giant skillet (really giant) and matching 8 gal pot (I guess I'm supposed to be brewing beer this year) also George got an air compressor with 2 nail guns and a pneumatic staple gun (who knew those even exist!?!)
Oh yeah. I treated myself to a new iPad mini retina 64gb that was $150 off. Going to give my 16gb iPad mini retina to BF and his iPad mini 2 to my father to use and play on apps to help cognitive functions.

Creme brulee is possible. I've never done it before, though. Guess it's time to learn!
